I remember looking up from the ground and seeing my friend(her name is Celestial) standing in front of me, telling me that she got me some job. We go outside of whatever building(I cant remember too well) we just left, and it’s an extremely dry area[1]. We enter this completely clean white building, sitting in the middle of two small hills. Inside, all the walls were completely blank and white, save for a window on the wall opposite of me. I look to my left side, and there is my ex-boyfriend, and he looks at me frowning saying "If you aren't even going to do your job right, you don’t belong here." Literally, I had just walked into the door and there he was, leaning on the wall before saying that to me. Of course, the rational part of my mind was somewhat confused, but I just didn’t say anything back to him.
After he made his remark, Celestial dragged me towards a door I didn’t notice that was leading to another place through the wall behind him. We walk around the building to the back, where she leads me to this very large victorian house[2]. The wood is old and gray, with paint dark gray peeling off of the walls. It was still very beautiful, but it just needed a new coat. The windows were dark, and I remember trying to peek inside to see if there was anything in there, but the interior was too dark to see anything.
We enter, and the interior is extremely old and the walls had a dark wallpaper, or a paint of some shade of red. There was dust everywhere, the furniture looked like it would fall apart if touched, and cobwebs draped from every edge. It looked like the house was never a home to anyone at all from how thick the dust coating was but it was furnished quite nicely. I was somewhat amazed at the old beauty the home had, and I was completely calm as we walked around in it. I felt at home with the dark interior, and gothic, baroque decorations. It was almost like a dream house. I've always fancied the victorian era homes with elegant furnishings.
I look down to my feet as we walk through the halls, and I see bodies, none of which I recognize to be people that I am close with or talk to on a daily basis. They were all either fresh to death, or are rotting away, some incomplete bodies, or limbs were haphazardly on the floor. Others were already completely rotted and all that was remained were bones. Each hallway we turned down was parted through the middle, so no limb nor bone was in the way of where we walked through. All the debris in the hallway was pushed aside. While we were walking I had looked down at what I was wearing, and saw I was wearing a nice little dress that looked sheer and lacey and had a silk underskirt to it[5]. It was black, and I had a nice pair of black sandal type shoes to go with it(the shoes in the picture were not the ones I was wearing).
After rounding another two corners, we arrive to an empty room with a large window to the left draped with white cotton, lace curtains obscuring most of the light, and there's a large antique couch in the middle of the room on a red luxurious-looking rug. Celestial moves me to the couch and sits me down on it, then exits the room. There was no other pieces of furniture in the room, save for a wardrobe, besides the couch. The couch sat opposite of the window, and I was facing it. To the left of the window was the door where I had entered from.
So I sit there by myself for a while, not really knowing what to do and got bored pretty quickly. In the bored daze, I laid back on the couch and looked at the wooden walls and admired the décor. But I didn’t get to look for very long before the door opened and in walked a blond woman I've never seen before[4]. She wore a dark grey dress that reminded me of the 1800's women's garments ladies would wear on a daily basis. She was dragging a corpse behind her, and tossed it on the rug near me. I didn’t have much of a reaction to it, which was the complete opposite of what the rational part of my mind was thinking. In the dream, I was completely okay with what was happening, almost like "This happens often", kind of nonchalance. But it was like an inner part of me was absolutely horrified at the entirety of the situation. I had just walked through a house full of bodies, and now there is a woman dragging around a corpse.
The woman then kneels down before the corpse, and begins to pick at it, and prods at what used to be the torso. To my surprise, she begins tearing off pieces of the corpse and putting them into her mouth, at an increasingly ravenous rate. While the rational part of me is panicking at the horrifying behavior of the blonde woman, the other part of me, submerged in the dream still makes no movement to stop her from gorging and I just watch. Still, I have the nonchalant reaction, as if I'm just used to this, or that this is just completely natural. A few more moments of her gorging, she stops and sits on her knees for a moment before falling over. I assume she dies, as she isn't breathing, nor does she make a move. What startles the rational part of my mind, is that instead of the woman getting back up, the half-eaten corpse sits up, and begins tearing at her limbs, and her body. The whole dream was just boiling into one bizarre and grotesque blur. Suddenly the unidentifiable thing makes its way over to me and pulls me up from where I lay. It then throws an arm over my shoulder and begins to drag me around like I was its friend. It even begins making guttural noises, as if it was casually talking to me. Of course, I didn’t understand what it was saying, but it continued to make these noises throughout the rest o the dream. We walk through the door I had come in, and I find myself walking down the halls with this thing. As we walk, it occasionally grabs a piece of a corpse in the margins of the hallway, and eat it. I notice that each time it does, it regenerated a bit, becoming increasingly life-like, or regenerating into a living person. WE enter this large room, resembling a living room, and I see other corpses just wandering. Then the dream ends. But before it does, I notice the corpse has blue eyes, and blonde hair. It almost resembles my old friend, who moved away a while back. We had a rough fallout, and we haven't spoken in a few months.

[2]: http://i.imgur.com/pTWuAVn.jpg it was this exact house, which scares me because I found it in the first place.
[3]: http://i.imgur.com/MQrH2J6.jpg The layout of the room was much like this one, except the couch was facing the window, right where the camera views the room, and the door is on the left side of the image closest to the window.

[5]: http://i.imgur.com/gXDYPlU.jpg Also, this dress she is wearing is the exact one I had on. When I had found the dress on google, I was so shocked that I had stared at it for the longest time. I almost didn’t know how to react, because I had never seen this dress before, nor have I ever seen that image.

So…does anyone have any ideas of interpretation that they wish to offer me? Questions, comments or concerns are welcome too lol

I can't read the above in the format it's in as it's just one jumbled mess. It's possible that you're using a browser that makes it look different from how I (and probably many others) are seeing it. In any case, I need to insert paragraphs with proper spacing to read it in, and may add in a few more just to make it easier to focus on specific points, so here goes...

I'll want to come back to this later, but the first thing that comes to mind is some part of you is obsessing over the fight (or the breakup, and breakups with friends can be as painful as the romantic kind) and being unable to let go (the corpses eating each other) the distress (or rage, despair, etc) remains as it feeds upon itself obsessively, though you know you should let it go (but can't).

Thank you so much! I appreciate the reformatting of the post! and yeah, the browser I use kind of makes writing out the post difficult.

it wasn't that I was distressed in the dream, I felt eerily calm and okay with what was going on. I only felt freaked out about the whole thing when I woke up.
But yeah I can see where you get the distress part. Although the breakup was painful one, this friend of mine was a pretty toxic person, and the reason I had left her was because of her toxicity and the emotional manipulation she subjected me to. I guess some part of me believes she isn't that kind of person.

Hello BlessedAreTheWarlike, and welcome!
Perhaps you saw your ex since this friend of yours turned into a kind of ex. Could be the victorian house signifies the past, and it might be that even you and your friend had this fallout only a couple of months ago, it already seems to you like ages. It is the house of your friendship, and it seems very nice, and at the same time like no one inhabited it (thick dust), like the relationship is already history. I would be careful saying this, because the house could also mean your relationship itself has a great history to it. In the dream you see corpses. A woman is eating a corpse and falls dead, the corpse eats her and turns alive, the more corpses she (?) eats. You might feel something has died in the relationship, but the relationship itself still has "food", nourishment, taken from the dead material of what has passed. The living is dead, the dead - alive. Your dream may show a subconscious wish to revive the relationship, though at the same time it seems to you like it all falls apart.

What do you think?

I just read what you wrote. A new thought that comes to mind is, that the toxicity and manupulation you felt emanating from your friend comes into play in the violent, disturbing nature of the dream.

That was what I was thinking. There were a lot of time where I did want to rekindle the relationship between us, I'll admit that. But I knew that if I did, we would just have the same fallout happen again, just as before, if not worse. I don't want that to happen, since it was painful enough the first time.

I must say, your interpretation of my dream is pretty spot on. It does feel like its been a while since this all happened, and the past relationship I had with her was quite meaningful to me, but I can't go back to it unless I wish to be subjected to that kind of toxicity again.
