I had quite a vivid nightmare and I'll try to explain in as much detail as possible!-------- I can't exactly remember how it started out but I remember me and a few others driving around and we were plotting how to kill a girl with us, her boyfriend was with us and in on it. We kill her but slowly we start dying off, except for me and two other girls. We try to bury her body and try to bury pieces of a tree with it (?). The cops show up and the two other girls get arrested but they take me to an airstrip and tell me that I'll be able to accompany a pilot who will fly the first plane into space. Two other people show up and it turns out to be the girl and her boyfriend who came back to life. When we're on the plane in the cockpit, all strapped in with our helmets on they tell me that they're going to kill me by cutting off my air supply while we're in the air, they tell me they're going to kill me like we killed her. I get off the plane but everyone is trying to get me back on, even though I'm saying i'd rather just go to jail. I escape and jump into the ocean thats right by the airstrip. Thing is, I can't swim, they know this and figure I'll just drown to death (which had been my intention) but I somehow grab onto a pole thats on the foundation of the airstrip and wait until everyone is gone. The girl ends up dying in space and I survive, and ironically become a flight attendant. ---- It's really weird but I woke up in a terror and couldn't figure out why I had this nightmare. This is a curious dream...
Could it be the girl you want to kill is you? There might be an aspect of yourself you wish to destroy. But when the group finally kills her, people are starting to die.. It could be that by "murdering" a part of your psyche, other parts are dying as well. Who is this boyfriend? Did you have, or do you have currently, a boyfriend who is asking you to "kill" an aspect of your personality for the sake of the relationship?
Later, the dream is inverted. Now it is specifically YOU who is to be murdered. And the girl comes back to life, along with the boyfriend. Maybe the boyfriend holds the key to the "dead" part in you. Or, now they both want to kill you, meaning the relationship can kill you. You escape, the girl dies, and you start a new career. Perhaps you chose career and/ or developing yourself over love? In any case, the girl died, which may mean that in order to advance, you had to leave a part of yourself behind.Does this interpretation resonate in any way?

My thoughts are nearly identical to Ayelet’s.  Killing someone in a dream often symbolizes the “killing” of some aspect of yourself. What part of yourself are you trying to “kill” and “bury”? Or, what part of yourself do you feel is being “killed” by someone else? A tree can represent the state of self. What part of yourself is in “pieces”? (bury pieces of tree) Do you wish to escape a burden, or the “gravity” of a situation? (space travel) Are you finding it difficult to do so? (girl and guy come back to life for revenge) The dream suggests that escape may only be possible if you face your fears, inadequacies, and the emotional energies that go with them. ( jump into ocean) It is then that you will be able to “rise above” and “attend” to your progression (become flight attendant). What do you think?

Its pretty accurate to an extent!! I think the flight attendant thing is just reflecting the fact that I do actually want to be a flight attendant lol. I'm not in a relationship although there is someone I sort of kinda like but sort of kind of hate and our last conversation was a fight maybe that's why the boyfriend died. The tree thing is 100% accurate, I do feel like I am in pieces and feel pretty aimless and do want to "kill" a part of myself. Thanks for your help guys!IP: Logged |
