Hello,hello!

I had one dream tonight that was a little disturbing.Anyone want to comment?

I was lying on a couch, half covered by a blanket then I butterfly, bigger than the usual ones started to attack me.She was (can I call a butterfly "she"?) well she was flying frantically and hurting me.It didn't want to give up! I started to cover my face with the blanket but the butterfly kept acting crazy then I torn it to pieces!

It's not the first time that I dream with something like that. Not long time ago I dreamed that a some sort of moth was hurting my hand.

You feel under attack from someone or something in your life.

Is there someone in your life you associate a butterfly to?

Mariah Carey, the singer, has the butterfly as her emblem.

Is there anyone in your life who may be a MC fan, or who you call Mariah?

Butterfly.

1. The butterfly is a symbol of transition and metamorphosis. It is possible the new you that is becoming is impatient with the process and is beconning you to hurry up already.

2. Continuing with the transitions theme. Could be that the person you have become is unrecognizable to the old you, and it's scary. You are afraid of this new you that is or is about to be.

Nine The answer for all the questions above is NO but the second part I can relate so much.

quote:
It is possible the new you that is becoming is impatient with the process and is beconning you to hurry up already.

I want to do that but don't know how,has been a slow process. It's annoying sometimes!

I think I may be a little afraid about the new me and the future, how is gonna be like now. This dream probably has a deep meaning!

The only weird part is why I torn the butterfly into pieces? So weird.
Thanks a lot Nine! 💕

It is normal to be aware you're dreaming when you're sleeping???It didn't happen with the butterfly dream but with others.

Danny

Why would you tear up the butterfly? ...
Maybe a part of you knows deeply that 'you don't want this'-- whatever it is?

-- It presents "too much 'flap'" to deal with?

A Philosophical Poetic Metaphorical Mountain Aside...

Actually Danny, lucid dreaming--
that is, the sudden awareness that you're IN the dream state WHILE remaining in the dream--
is something relatively rare (at least, in the previous century).

There have been spiritually-oriented scientific researchers who studied this phenomenon (last century) for the purpose of learning to 'consciously' direct one's conscious experience to go wider. The dreamer might make note of facts and experiences from that point-of-awakening within the dream-state.

You could engage and go further into the Dream experience WITH whatever symbols (or people) that you find there.

OR, you could find yourself going 'up' or broader-and-wider IN that conscious awareness, still in the dream-state... and do a direct-connection to Higher Self.

It would be as though you had not been aware you were on stage and acting in a theatre play.
You suddenly remember that you are 'an actor'....

Now at this point-- you could own the role knowing that you are 'as the actor', and begin to consciously manipulate and play-around with the story/objects/people presented who are on that stage with you;

or,

the thought-pivot could cause the stage to instantly become stripped and bare..

you are there,

you could suddenly find that you are in the center of a Beautiful Spot-Light,
Amazing and Dazzling
and the Source of it is the most Inspiring thing you EVER saw,
It's filled with reverberating Love?

A PHYSICAL reason for not being able to fully fall asleep could be drinking caffeine, caffeinated drinks. Even some prescribed drugs can have side-effects that keep a layer of your consciousness from being able to go down into sleep all the way.
(This could include recreational substances.)

The last things I want to add.... and ask--

What kinds of things happened to you around the time of the MOTH-Bite dream?

Did something happen that caused you to have terrible mental anguish, anxiety, or to have to bear emotionally overwhelming distress, either before or during that time period?

Butterflies are generally safe pretty bugs...

Usually with "butterflies" we might want to open our Heart and let our Guards down-- delicate, vulnerable, and sensitive.

Is there something in your mind,
and/or something someone tried to tell you "is safe,"
that you (inside yourself) actually object to-- no matter 'how good' it appears on the outside?

~

Sometimes life has presented us with random Events that come out-of-the-blue, and beyond our control. Can seem negative and/or end up being quite Positive!

I wish you Soft Love... with a Caring Touch from someone who Loves you.

Nine seems to have spotted it for you, Danny. And Mirage, those are interesting points to think about too. Perhaps, Danny, you view your metamorphosis or change in a violent way. Maybe even as if it is being forced on you. And so you resist it.

Guys I made a mistake. The thing that attacked me was a MOTH!! I only noticed the difference on their looks now because I was searching for pictures, I saw one moth that resembles a lot the one on my dream.I thought "moth" were another type of insect. Not this cousin of butterfly!

What confusion that I made!!
Sorry for my terrible english!

However a moth isn't agressive either right?

I don't remember exactly but were months ago. I probably was stressed yet and emotionally overwhelmed but it wasn't a moth. The insects were kinda glued, and were "sucking" both my hands. It did hurt a lot! I tried to pull out but was very difficult so I asked for help but no one helped me.

A long time ago were a animal on my hand like a Hedgehog. The torns were on my hand and a woman told me that those torns would only go away when I relaxed my hand.

Thanks Mirage! I wish the same for you 💛💛

Hi DannyCappy!

When you wondered whether or not Meditation could enhance it, I went back over my post, and realized that I had deleted some paragraphs before submitting my reply that day. Those paragraphs addressed Meditation, in combination with a natural gifting (adept), would facilitate having a conscious awareness in the in-between liminal states or spaces. (At least, those are my peripheral-like hunches.)

As for the Moth... I will leave you a vid on Moth Totems. Try on what they say. See if it fits anything?

(topic) Moth Totem: The Moon's Messenger (by Cross Potent, symbolism Native American tradition) [4:30] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiyrCs50nS0

This video is very informative and cute-funny. She uses some of your words, Danny. See if this can draw up any inner meanings for you.
