hiya. lastnight i dreamt i died in 1 reality but the soul went into a body of me in another reality. i was me and remember me dying but not who or why. does anyone have an idea? i know about parallel realities and i think its amazing. the question is did i actually move to another me? or was it just a dream? there was no pain involved in the death. it felt like a burden thats been lifted.

Hello Gbear. I know nothing about parallel realities. I would have thought it to be a dream. But suppose you died in one reality and entered another you in another reality, what do you think happened to the soul occupying the you of the new reality? Or is it the same soul? I don't know, it seems a bit confusing to me. Perhaps you can explain it.I would suggest your knowledge concerning parallel realities triggered this dream. You dreamt on that which is in your thoughts. Perhaps it interests you to live a different life in a parallel universe, to change, explore possibilities you haven't allowed yourself to in this life. Although, if I understand correctly, you felt your current life is the new life, the alternate reality. IP: Logged |

Hello Gbear Fascinating! Robert Monroe wrote of similar experiences in "Journeys Out of the Body". He didn't "die", but instead went out-of-body and would sometimes enter another body in another, parallel, reality. I don't know if it was just a dream or something more. I think only you can determine that. But I do believe it is possible to interact in a parallel reality while in a dream or out-of-body state. Walk in Peace IP: Logged |

I've always thought we can slide (slip) into close realities (almost indistinguishable), but it was physical.IP: Logged |

wow... Cool meta descriptions in the responses, Ayelet, Ra, and Randall. Gbear77 ... I'll draft off the start of Ayelet's response. A part of you is testing out the idea of a changing roles in life? This idea would have you feeling like it's a complete change of life for you, and therefore, lifestyle? Will you be changing jobs or having a relocation soon? Considering it? How about friends and groups? Are you contemplating any kind of change? Whatever it is you decide-- it won't hurt at all. Seems pleasant, curious, and maybe welcomed by you. Take Care! IP: Logged |

Well Randall-- I gave this some almost-serious thought. Two Conclusions You're dreaming and reminiscing with other-dimensional lovers from your past, and it was so strong and livid that your physical body had a reaction to it? (music) Too Hot (Kool And The Gang) [3:48] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nclvx4LSRpM OR You became lucid, and mustering all the astral willpower you could, you were able to raise it and accidently pressed that finger up against your future-self, in an attempt to test if it's actually real... Your future-self wanted you to know, yep, it's real, and left you a reminder in the natural to convince you of it?! (music) LMAO!![2:59] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5mtclwloEQ IP: Logged |

Maybe it's an insect sting that happened overnight. Sometimes those can appear as though you burned yourself... Or You partied and played so hard at 4th of July picnic festivities that you didn't notice you had burned yourself? IP: Logged |

All great theories. But it's a scar from a burn. Relatively fresh, where it's still red--a few days to a few weeks before it starts to fade.IP: Logged |
