Hello!I'd appreciate any and all kind of ideas on what this dream might mean...My mom told me about this dream she had recently, freaked her out. She was being pulled out of her bed to the floor, and couldn't see anything it was so dark. She tried calling out for my dad to help but her voice couldn't come out... She said the dream felt so real and she felt the pulling. What does this kind of dream mean? IP: Logged |

Hello Etherealsaturn, It might be that your mom had a fear of helplessness. Or maybe she was dealing with some force in the astral, which pulled her astral body out of her sleeping body, and she wasn't sleepy but aware and awake, which thing made her "dream" a real thing. In other words, it may not have been a dream. Though I don't believe she was actually in any danger, besides being afraid.IP: Logged |

Like Ayelet was saying... sounds a bit 'supernatural'?Has she been watching horror films? Can be her subconscious regurgitating content seen on movie-screens or shows? And, if she's a fan of Halloween, then she's getting 'psyched' ahead of time for it? Hope things sort out for her... Needs to monitor how much AM-Radio she might listen to at night (who have those kinds of programs highlighted now about the supernatural). Or What kinds of movies and books she allows into her head... Maybe if she watches, don't go to bed right away without processing? .... But you know, these days, those programs come in with HighDefinition-- designed to penetrate straight into the fear parts of the brain??? (I hope not!! ..) Sleep Well....

You're welcome Mirage, I didn't think about it. Horror movies. You probably nailed it. I myself used to have nightmares of a bit similar kind, though I haven't watched this stuff. But horror movies could definitely trigger such experiences. IP: Logged |

My mom was a horror-movie fan... Some of my first nightmares as a child, opened up by incorporating some of the theme-songs and images of the scary shows she would watch. Yes, some people have more sensitivity to what enters into their sensory-gates. Dreams belong to that Pisces realm ... where things accumulate to get diluted, cleansed, and reprocessed. Just a night song....
