Why do I keep having these dreams ever since, it has happened 4 times already, and it's been 1 month and a half since I got the fishes.

I dream that the fishes are stuck in a really tiny jar or aquarium, where they cannot go from one place to the other. Sometimes the water they're in is really dirty as well. And I'm the dream I wonder how they're still alive like that. At the end I release them in a bigger aquarium or the sea, and feel relieved by doing that. Seeing the fishes in that situation when they're stuck makes me feel suffocated and nervous, and when I realize they're stuck this thought always comes to my mind (in the dream) about how come I didn't see that before, how come I didn't notice before that they're stuck and in such a horrible situation?

I always want to make sure my fishes don't die from dirty water or getting fed no food or too much food. I also supervise my cat whenever she's around the aquarium, since it has no lid. I want to make sure they're happy and I don't know what else to do to make them happy, of course they're out of their natural environment, but I wish I knew what else I could do.

Each thing, is a part of you, your psyche. You could decide to 'give a voice' to each part, as though... you are the fishes, and the fishes are trying here to tell you something.

Put yourself in the various positions.

Well taken care of, yet so cramped and needing freedom?

Part of you is working so hard, being responsible, doing everything you know to do, being disciplined, orderly, caring.

The water always seeming dirty? ...
That could be like emotions that need processing. Negative emotions or negative thinking. Trying to find a 'solution' using the same thinking, over and over again.

Think outside-the-tank? ... the square box.
Can't solve what it is, until you expand your viewpoints-- think a different way about it.

Also! could indicate chemical imbalances (including hormones).

I didn't thoroughly read it yet.. but, I noticed you had done a thread in Astro2.0 about "god, God," and other thoughts you had on spirituality?

Water is also symbolic of spirituality.
Fishes?... Christ?

Having some conflicts about what you feel spirituality is about... This world is giving us sooo many mixed messages about 'what's alright'-- is it right or wrong to Believe in God, or is it "cooler and more-acceptable to your peers" to trash God and 'say that you don't believe'?

Is "God" actually a bodyless personality, and a Caring and relatable-Being, ... or is 'god' just an impersonal force, just 'physics'?

The spiritual world is real...

You have placed your tank to The Light-- The Sun. Trying to clarify?

Like the aquarium, imagine water standing without its glass-walls. It's got a Body to it (the water-is-substance by itself; like raw egg-white without a shell, designed to float a 'yolk' in it). 'It' holds dogmas. Story of Pisces fishes... is that they are in conflict-- one being Alive, the other one dead, with a strand connecting them. Which one is 'leading' ...?

I'm not sure what belief system you were brought up with in your childhood years?

In the teen years, you explore all your thoughts and belief about the world itself, including what you decide about spirituality and how it fits in the picture or not?

Each single person comes to a point of connection to God, on their own. No matter WHAT belief system you engage.

I've known even preachers who haven't had that core-conversion of having met God.

Not everyone who says, Lord, Lord... knows God.
It makes a 'difference' in your life when you do.

Conversions, 'finding the CORE' ..
Reminds me too of people who have had NDE's...
When they come back from that Experience, their life-view, and things that were once important or not-important can radically shift.

There are lots of religious people, of EVERY kind (east or west); every Layer, every echelon and manner of Authority.

Some chose to advertise and 'wear' the emblems of their authority on the outside... not knowing the CORE, The One Who Holds Them EXTRA-Responsible, because when people see these symbols (eastern or western), it makes Direct-reference (and reflection) to their diety or belief-system.

Okay. I got philosophical??
