I dunno. I had an odd experience in the astral realm, seemed like a dream within a dream. In the inner dream I felt that I was astral projecting. I woke up at 3am. The thought hit me that it was in these conditions (sleep/wake) that astral projections occurs. I felt my spirit being pulled into the astral. I then said, "no I don't want to astral project". I remember getting a lot of resistance, but managing to wake up. I fell back to sleep and could feel that same pull, I tried to wake myself again but couldn't. I stopped fighting and went along with the energy. Suddenly, I'm rising up towards the ceiling. I can see my body lying in bed. I was not afraid. Throughout the experience I felt like there were needles pricking my face and lips. I was unprepared so didn't know where to project myself. I remember requesting "take me to the moon". After I got there, wanted to go somewhere else. I remember landing on the dark side of the moon. I stopped after the second request because my face would hurt from that prickly feeling during flight. After a while I had normal dream, which turned out to be what occurred the following day. At the end I thought to myself, I guess I can wake up now - I turned and woke up. Sounds pretty surreal.  I'm glad Randall knew the answer to that one, Nine! I don't have any experience with that. Idea--- if your face and lips were stinging, then, that's a good thing? It helped serve as a signal to your mind that something out of the ordinary was happening. When you came back, you remembered 'stinging', which gave you a clue that this was more a conscious-reality astral realm, then merely a strong dream. Cool.  ... Thanks for sharing. IP: Logged |

The pricking needles in my face I've never experienced, but I do remember flying to outer space... I also had sensations of pulling out of my body, but not in a positive way. All in all it sounds normal, but also interesting and cool (also the forseeing the future). Have you astral projected before?IP: Logged |

It does become easier. And you will have many adventures. Perhaps you should try and do it by choice, and not just wait for the pull. You may read a book or two on astral projection, and that may fuel your endeavors.Good luck!  IP: Logged |
