So about a month ago I had a dream I need some help decoding.Dream: I'm at a bar sitting at a table for two. A snarly dog is sitting in the seat across from me. I wanted to leave, but got the feeling the dog would attack if I moved. I'm staring at the dog, the dog is staring bearing his teeth. Terrified with fear, I somehow reached across the table to pet the dog; I started petting his head, ears, then gently his neck and back. It worked. My gesture broke the tension, and the dog completely relaxed. /dream. IP: Logged |

A week after this dream I was hanging out with a colleague. He says,>I had a weird dream last night. I went home, reached down to pet my dog and he bit me. How curious, I thought. .

Maybe this situation happens to you in real life. Can you see where you need to calm down someone else so that you are safe as well? I think of your colleague. A coincidence. Which turns my thinking to the bar as an after-work scenario or place of action. Maybe you have to appease someone at work, and it slips into your leisure time. And could it be your colleague wasn't so lucky, and got a "bite" from the same person?

Ayelet, spot on.I was displeased with someone at work, so I iced him out. After that dream I decided to reach out and melt the ice. He still retaliated, but at least I came out looking good. Regarding the 3rd colleague, dunno. Heard a rumor that should've meant they weren't close, but from the looks of it they'd made up. Who knows, perhaps the person representing the dog (an Aquarius) is still carrying around buried hostility. IP: Logged |

Could be your colleague's dream is on someone else. Quite likely, now that I think of it. Still, it is interesting you had similar symbols, and maybe that gave away some clue to solve your dream.
