I’ve had multiple dreams where I am at the Great Wall of China but have never been there before. What could this mean? Anything besides desire to travel?

A couple years back when I was having these dreams I never thought about it but now I do want to visit. Just thinking recently how strange it was that I had these dreams.

Maybe you traveled in time (to another life). Were there other signs for time travel? Do you feel any connection to the Chinese culture?
Or maybe you're dealing with some barrier you don't see a way out from yet, and the wall signified that barrier.
A key to the dream's meaning could be found in your emotions while dreaming. Try to find, perhaps even write down to yourself some free associations concerning that wall.

Edit: You could also have watched a future scenario.

I do feel a connection to Chinese culture in some ways if I think about it and have a desire to go there more now than when I was having these dreams a few years back. Just recently thinking about why I had these dreams. I often go through phases of having a certain dream - zombies, tidal waves etc. but thought these were different than your typical “symbolic” dreams. Maybe I did have a past life there or will be going there in the future.
