Someone else was driving. He ran right into the rear bumper of another car, and it hit hard, but there was no damage at all.IP: Logged |

Do you feel your stepfather is taking the lead in some issue? And that things are no longer in your control? Perhaps you should own the driver's seat in your life. It could be the dream describes symbolically a certain issue in real life that involves your stepfather and yourself, in which he seems to have the last say or is in charge, and the outcome is the accident. Not the best outcome, but neither is it catastrophic. It could also be a prophetic dream, but since you wrote you don't ride with him in real life, I would rule that out. IP: Logged |

Ayelet {{And Happy Birthday!! July 20 }}Just An idea.. Make sure (if appropriate) that your step-dad is following-through with any medical advice given to him, so he is not caught off-guard with whatever he should be paying attention to? Does he need to have any mechanical routine maintenance work done on his car at this time also? You're a pretty intuitive guy, Randall. If you're dreaming about someone else TOO, it might be helpful that you would look into those 'literal' things. It's called "shared-dreaming" -- We dream for ourselves. And, it can simultaneously apply to another person's life, especially when they are close to us. IP: Logged |

I had another "crash" dream. Something was wrong with my car that made it accelerate on its on, and it began moving without me in it. It crashed into the back of another car and did cause damage, and it kept moving. I chased after it on the road in a neighborhood up a slight hill, but I couldn't see where it went. IP: Logged |

Randall, sorry I'm late in responding. Hadn't seen your last posts. I had done the research but didn't have my life together-enough to respond yet.CARS can represent "transitions" and dealing with stress and worry. In the positive sense-- It reflects 'decisiveness' and exercising control over your life. It also can be a predictor of emotional and financial challenges. It's a sign of moving towards responsibility. *Being out of control* can show that you have a sense of being (or feeling) overwhelmed by responsibility. That matters have a 'sense' of being outside your own hand of control.
Shows you are wanting to 'get a grip' on things. Have confidence in your abilities. Shows being afraid of repercussions from your decisions. Be optimistic. *accidents in dreams* Can be warning you to be more careful when you drive in our natural world. Be careful of the accident set-up 'inside' the dream. Watch for those signs in the 'outer' world, so you can avoid that situation. e.g. .. coming up to a certain intersection? Pay attention to clues you might have missed in the dream that LED to the accident of the dream. Make sure you're paying attention in the natural world to the SAME things missed in the dream world. Avoid making that same mistake. Some of the interpretations I'd come across said to 'be on guard' about an anxiety and unwillingness to take responsibility. Another 'accident' interpretations is that you are sensing or feeling that some of the decisions you make right now "will be hurting" people. {--- You're in field of Law? I can imagine how THAT must feel. } So.... In general, it's a sign of that your subconscious mind is showing attempts to take control and to handling responsibilities. Okay. * I know that those dreams happened during this time of anxiety about taking your Bar Exams, and possibly not-passing the "first" try. You've gone on to take more education courses, to 'prep' for the Bar? Have Confidence. You are 'in fear' of not meeting your own perfections? .. You are a Good Student. You won awards for that. Make ALLOWANCES that you "might" or "could" need to take it a second time? LET it be OKAY if you weren't "perfect" and it happened. Even in a baseball game... you get 3 strikes?? * The other thing would be that you realize you would have to defend people or make decisions as a lawyer that can come-against your own moralities and sense of ethics? * The third thing coming to my mind is that you yourself HAVE experienced being in a very bad accident before. Is it around the anniversary of your accident? Do you still subconsciously 'rehearse' that accident, and the sense of being out of control? Perhaps this is triggered right now in some way in your life, and your mind takes you BACK to that sense of being in the accident? It's been a while since I read about that accident you had. There was some kind of special-intervention you felt you had during that time? Take Care, Randall. IP: Logged |

Randall. This is just an aside. This person has been being mean to me for a LONG time. Just letting you be aware.*tears* I'm really glad that you have appreciated me, openly, so many times. When people have not thanked me for what I contributed to them, you have stepped in with a Thanks. What this person (hyp) does to myself and to a few others is just sooooo incredibly unkind and definitely unthoughtful-- She has been generating bad vibes towards me for a while now. … (?bullying?) I can hardly believe it.... There is one other member who has said something similar, but,--- it's okay because I know that the particular person suffers with severe mental illness (combo of ?schizophrenia/bipolar?). For them, I give wide berth, and don't participate in her threads anymore.
I did not deserve "this" today...…. - http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/241582.html ----- She keeps editing and editing to change the 'tone' of that post to me. The original was quite nasty. IP: Logged |

I have a lot of dreams and night visions with being in a car that’s out of control. Thank you. Probably since my mid 20’s. Lol IP: Logged |

I know, Randall.. Just, thanks for your comment.Stawr, I'm glad you were able to glean benefits from that interpretation. I went more-specific to limit to what I know about Randall's life. Thanks for commenting. You are reminding me that others will read for their OWN dream of crashes too. I'll keep that in mind in the future. IP: Logged |
