Topic: Black cat cross street while driving

I know of this superstition, but don't think I've dealt with it before?Just got home, and while driving a black cat ran across the street. I love cats, and have one. We do have feral cats in the neighborhood, but just never seen that cat before. Anyway, I traveling out of the country on 8/22 -and heading out locally tomorrow to visit people.
My passport is all set, I'm not done packing yet, and I'm waiting to book a hotel for my trip. Shoud I be worried? IP: Logged |

The way you wrote it, I understand the black cat actually crossed your way, while awake, not in a dream.
I myself do not believe in this superstition and think this is not an evil sign. However, if I misread and this took place in a dream, it might suggest you should act with caution in your near-future dealings. It might suggest the possibility of an unlucky encounter. Since it happened on your way home, it could refer to your returning from your trip, and might mean you should drive safely. Or it may mean some concern will be revealed to you upon returning. But if it's not a dream, then I suggest you stay positive and not let your fears have the better of you. IP: Logged |

Black cats are also associated with the Fun of Halloween Time. 
Or, is also associated with any "13th" Day of the Month? Probably your subconscious mind feels a bit anxious about your trip?
Sooo. Go ahead and be SAFETY-minded for a while.. Be 'consciously' paying more attention to your surroundings. Your intuition is 'on' ..
Be sure that you are diligent to look into matters that you don't fully understand while in a foreign culture). Be Clear about the details of things in your life and environment. Take an abundance of pre-cautions where you can. Look into guarding against any loop holes, blind spots?
Take care while you drive.
Don't be distracted. {Don't text and drive!!  } Have a Blast of Fun on your trip!!

Hi All,Update, It did mean something. My grandfather passed away last night.I'm so happy I saw him before I left for my trip. I know I shouldn't correlate the two, but can't help it knowing, I'd never seen the cat before in my neighbor and it stood out so much in my mind. IP: Logged |

So sorry that your Grandfather died.  Your intuition was keen to something coming.
When those kinds of things occur, there's a special quality to the cue that intuition brings. Like you said, it stood out. It had prepared you a bit, for the important soul event. Be well. Blessings.. *hug*

I'm very sorry for your loss. Yea, it's good you had the chance to see him before he passed away. I don't think a black cat is a bad omen, but perhaps you had a gut feeling something bad was going to happen, and the black cat who appeared brought it up to your consciousness. You felt, perhaps, something was not right. I wish you to heal and hope your grandpa's passing was peaceful. IP: Logged |
