We broke up almost a month ago due to influences by his "best" friend who he considers a sister. The whole time we were together, we both felt like we were soulmates. He's told me numerous times after the breakup that he loves me, misses me, and I'm so beautiful. He says his heart wants to be with me, but that it's just not possible (my gut tells me being with me means losing his friendship and he's not ready to let that go). Regardless of the reason, we aren't together now, and I've been working very hard on cutting ties and letting go.

Anyway, here's the dream. I would love to get some feedback on it. Thanks

JoJo. Sorry that happened, wow.

Realize? How is it that he didn't/couldn't have the courage-needed to 'act' on his heart and man-up to the words he used? That hurts. You wrote your feelings when you said that he didn't consider you as "best" .. 'best friend'?

I saw another post you did in asteroids. Are you getting ready to be involved with another person now? .. If so, then consider that a part of you has not yet let go of the memory and wont of this soulmate?

Does it/he deserve one more, one last, contact by communication to see where he's at with his life these days?

Thank you for responding. The name asteroids post is this man - the one in my dream.

I have learned that he has gone off the rails, so to speak. Binge drinking, car accident, very self destructive. When I heard these things I reached out to him. He insists that he does not want to get back together - well, what he actually says is either "I'm sorry, I can't" or "I wish I could, but I can't". I suggested that he get himself together. I went on to say that his behavior is not that of someone who is dealing well with the separation and if he was, he should start acting like it.

Interestingly, later that day, I received the the most hateful, vile, aggressive message you can imagine from his "friend". Her hatred of me borders on pathological, and her aggressiveness towards me has 100% convinced me that my gut instinct about her feelings for him are true.

My gut tells me their relationship is almost like and abuser/victim dynamic wherein he is sacrificing himself and his heart to keep the peace. Until he figures that out on his own and detaches from this "friend", there is no chance for us.

I have disengaged from the situation, but I am still often haunted by his "presence" and feel his sadness and grief in my solar plexus more often than not.

Sounds like he may be your Twin Soul, but that he is contracted to work out some karma with his friend (whether temporarily or for the rest of this lifetime, I don't know).

My Spirit has projected Soul selves and lifetimes where that Soul was incarnated with their Twin Soul, but yet couldn't be together because of karmic obligations with other Spirits and their Souls. It was indeed very hard of my other selves, but it's doable.

But as your dream indicates, even though you are not together on the 3D level, there is no separating you on every other level, and these are in many ways, far more real than this limited and temporal one. (Having read hundreds of NDE accounts, one common thread between almost all of them, is that the higher levels always feel and seem so much more real to them than this physical level).

While one can never truly and fully let go of a Twin Soul connection, I would suggest to try your best to damp down and weaken the connection in various different healthy ways. If you have free time and energy, then volunteer and put your focus on others in a positive way. Visualize yourself cutting all colored cords from him (red, orange, yellow, etc), except for the center, golden heart cord.

Get grounded and balanced by spending time in nature, especially walking barefoot and communing with the different kinds of life in same. Get involved in creative projects. Deep meditation.

Another thing I saw - we have Eros/Psyche conjunction 3 degrees in addition to Pluto/Proserpina opposition 0 degrees. That's in addition to lighting up each other's ASC and having name asteroids conjunct. I won't even start on our Pluto/Moon and Venus/Moon contacts nor will I go into our Saturn. I have no doubt he's my twin.

We both tried extremely hard to move past each other, and found it to be impossible. I tried to so hard to be patient and have faith that we really are meant to be. He, on the other hand, went off the rails and into a dark depression that resulted in a lot of unhealthy behaviors. I confronted him shortly thereafter and he straightened up. For a few weeks, we saw each other once or twice a week, but we couldn't maintain a casual relationship.

About a month ago, he finally quit resisting his feelings for me and what he knew to be true in his heart, and we are in the process of a full blown reconciliation.

I'm very happy for you JoJo. What a ride eh? I bet you experienced a lot of growth in between.

My twin soul won't even talk to me, except in dreams. I'm trying to let her go. Perhaps the rejection has been for my protection as pointed out earlier on this thread. Maybe I need to focus on being grateful for that. I held onto hope and faith for about a year and a half that things would work out and we would be united, but I have no more hope for that to happen on this level.
