I had this weird dream. A thief broke into my family's house and pushed us out of my old room and closed the door. He was covered in black clothes and mask. He started to search for evidence against me.
My mom, two of my sisters and three of my nieces were not comfortable so we left. We thought that the thief was searching for evidence to help my ex wife ( im not married in real life).
I took my family to another house, the thief came again. My two sisters were at work or something they were not there so I took my mom my three nieces to escape. He followed us so we hid in a religious place. He was not able to see us. I called a taxi and we escaped. Also I called the police. I took my mom and my three nieces to a hotel while the police said they will go with me as protection to take stuff that we need from the house for myself and mom and three nieces. While we were there we found him. This time he was exposed his face is showing and he was wearing casual clothes. I pulled one of the police officer's guns and I threaten to shoot him until he tells me the truth. I asked if he was sent by my ex wife . He smiled and said no, he mentioned a name I did not recognize so he said it was a woman I went against in public speaking, ( I never did public speaking in real life) in the dream was kind of woman who trained me for public speaking. I asked if he took all the evidence he needed he said yes. He tried to shake my hand and said he promises to never break into my house again. I did not shake his hand. The police took him away. What does it mean?

Yea, quite a lot. You wrote "I am not married in real life". I guess you meant you were also not married in the past? Could it relate to a past connection that seemed to resemble marriage in your mind? To some ex, not an ex wife? If not, it might show fear from the future, not the past. In the dream you find shelter in religion, or spirituality. The law is on your side, the police is on your side.
Who is that thief? He could be yourself, if you're thus inclined to interpret. It might be some self annihilation caused by the live of a woman. Or maybe it is fear from getting close to a woman (again?). The dream is also full of feminine characters from your family - your mother, your sisters, your nieces... All of you were together in this scene (except for the sisters who went for work later). You were their protector. You were in charge. And the females from your family were with you in such a position because of another woman, who sent a man to collect evidence for her. It could be you see the other woman, unreal as she may be, as an intruder into the peace of your family. Could it be a woman, in which you'd have romantic interest, seems far off the family ideal, and jeopradyzing it?
