I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot next to the beach. Scorpio is in the passenger seat. We're holding hands while seated. The conversation is about mundane stuff; our jobs, weather, things like that. However, there was heavy flirting & petting all through the conversation. I realize I was going to be late, so I rolled the windows down and offered to have Scorpio remain in the car if he wasn't in a rush. Scorpio says he was going to leave with me. A person is walking towards the car, I got out of the car, Scorpio remained seated.

I would like to modify what I wrote. I pointed that you may feel a lack of support from Scorpio. But I think that, in order to confirm or disprove that, you may look into your own feelings in regard with Scorpio staying in the car. Have you felt abandoned? Forsaken? Or merely in control of the situation, everything in its place, Scorp in the car, you out, handling things?
Many a time the emotion attached to a certain scenario determines much more clearly the significance of that scenario.

I've also read that a car is a dream symbol of the dreamers life. Perhaps Scorpio was making a statement about staying put in my life.

A part of me suspect I may have been catfished, Ala Inception. Where the true identity of the person sitting in the car wasn't Scorpio, but some undesirable.

Something else I wanted to add. I have tarot reading that went through the entire zodiac. For Scorpio it said that this person had moved on. I was willing to make peace it that was the case.

It could be you are right interpreting him staying in the car as staying in your life. Your view is the most valid. You mentioned thinking the person staying there is not really Scorpio, though, but someone undesirable. Question: do you know this undesirable person who could be there instead of Scorpio, or is it simply the notion of someone else instead of him? If the latter is the case, maybe you feel there are sides to your love interest with which you are not yet familiar, and perhaps do not like to be that much.
