This girl I've known since she was 3 years old, I've had two lucid dreams of her, both ending the same way.

The first dream, we were at a get-together, someone had mentioned to the host that they had run out of something (don't remember what), I said "I'll grab it, no problem, I need to get a refill of Dew anyways." I asked if anybody else wanted anything or wanted to go with me. A couple others asked me to grab other stuff that I can't remember either, but didn't want to go with, for whatever reason. I started walking towards my car thinking to myself "You guys are a bunch of butthole-pricks, see if I ever do anything nice for you guys again when you really want help!" At the same time I here a voice, "I'll go with you!" No second thought, no hesitation. I turn around and realize it's the woman I've got the hots for, no longer the cute little girl that used to annoy me, running to catch up to me, I could see the excitement in her eyes, I could feel her energy, her urge to be with me. All I could do is smile at her, I told her "Alright, hop in!" We get to the Gas-Station, purchase everything, and head back to my car. As we get to my car she mentions that she's having lot's of fun, I can see the excitement still flaring in her eyes, and she asks me "Can we do this again sometime?" I can feel her energy surging thourgh me like she was really standing in front of me, I could sense she really wanted to do more with me, to have a real relationship. I just cringed my teeth, debating whether I really wanted to be with her, and just before I could come up with an answer to give her, I woke up.

The second dream was shorter, but much the same, except I have know idea what our location was. The feelings where exactly the same, the energy I could feel from her was exactly the same, and again she tells me how much fun she's having and again asks me "Can we do this again sometime?" Again, I cringe my teeth, and again, before I can think of an answer to give her, I wake up.

Interestingly enough, the first dream was exactly like a real get-together we had a couple years prior to the dream, even the clothes we were all wearing (including us) were exactly the same, except that the host never actually ran out of anything, and I never had any reason to run to the Gas-Station, so me and this girl never actually did anything together that day. The get-together was Easter 2011 and the dream followed almost exactly two years later to the day. Really bizarre!? It was like actually going back in time to that moment, of that particular day. The second dream followed 2 years later from the first, but was a more random date.

So...What are these dreams saying to me? I've seen this woman a few times recently, but so far no dreams, but I guess we'll see what happens in two years😆😉

Thanks!

lol@ when our unconscious works like that Facebook function that shows a memory "this year ago today". bizarre!

This is the meat of the message. The opposite sex is usually our anima or animus image. How you react to them describes your current relationship to your own feminine side. Cars represent a sense of your life's journey, passengers are facets to that path. You in the driver's seat is self-explanatory and crucial to the take-away from the message.

So, sounds like your feminine energy, somewhat infantile and excitable, is asking (you, multiple times) to be involved (integrated) in your daily life.

Questioning whether you want to be with "her" after her arrival is naturally a yes despite the hesitation. Feminine energy is i.e. creativity, compassion, acceptance, justice/balance/morality among other responses and shadows. Hence, paying attention to your hesitation and unpacking what it means to cringe your teeth will clarify what is the current dynamic within. "She" (your feminine nature) used to annoy you with her childlike antics, but now she's developed and eager to meet you.

I've also had a curiosity of the particular gut reaction that shocks us out of a dream--experienced this a few times myself.

Ps, we are always in a relationship with our anima/animus. Knowing enough about dream psychology, I would try to accept the message objectively as the actual person typically should be considered redundant. Just symbols or an extension of ourselves. Aside from what I outlined above, do you believe theres something more to this dream? You mentioned being lucid. Could you elaborate what that means to you?

There's always a chance that this dream could be an form of astral energy exchange between you and the actual person, which seems like something you might like (we all do with people we love)... though even that wouldn't diminish her functioning as an anima image to psychologically work with in the meantime. In my experience, anima-images, whether tethered to spirit or pure imagination, are fairly persistent in approach.

For example, a guy friend of mine had a dream that involved him sitting in the back seat of a car driven by the mother of his ex-girlfriend and the girl. After the two people in the front seat lost control of the car, they eventually drove off a bridge into a body of water, and he recalls saying to them from the back seat in slow motion, "just keep calm". To be fair his girlfriend had just broke up with him, and so the dream justifies how he didn't feel in control of his life. Diving into water is emotions or psyche. The biggest question, who was the mother in control of the car? His anima-image was split, they were arguing amongst themselves as the accident began. Catch my drift?

Vansio, thanks for the Jungian reflections on masc/femm energies.

CardinalT-Square--
"Again, I cringe my teeth, and again, before I can think of an answer to give her, I wake up."

In the research I did, they share that this dream indicates a stress-state and a "learning-situation"-- Was a time where underneath you may have been re-thinking everything in your life. During that time, there were lots of pre-occupations and distractions going on.

The 'cringe of teeth' then awakening--
may be that the inner-wisdom of your subconscious was indicating that you were going in a different direction than what your Heart desired?

Maybe she was your little friend at 3 years old, but you sort of sensed an incompatibility were a 'more-serious' relationship to occur? That a part of you wouldn't be 'available' to go that length with her?

I don't have a copy of your astro chart.

Just for fun, why don't you research your transits for the date you mentioned, Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011.

Easter is a moveable Feast Day.
Occurs the first Sunday after the FULL MOON in Libra. {That would occur in your Libra / Aries Houses}.

As far as your mention of 'every two years'?, and that you've known her since 'three years old' ..

The planets that have an approximate two-year orbiting cycle would be Mars, and Venus.

Saturn spends 2 1/2 years in a zodiac sign, as well as your Progressed Moon. (Just to throw that in! LOL)

Exciting Dream. Very cute one, too.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the analysis Mirage29 and Vansio!

Mirage29, I've looked at the transits for Easter of 2011, (ALL THAT ARIES😱!!!) Jupiter and Mars are conjuncting my 11th House cusp. Jupiter is in her 11th House, both Mars and Jupiter are opposite her natal Mars and Jupiter conjunction in Libra, and opposite my Moon. Square her Uranus and Neptune conjunction in Capricorn, square my Mars in Capricorn, and square my Sun in Cancer. We're both Cancer Ascendants too!

Interesting you mention Venus and Mars, I can't remember the exact day I met her and her older Sister, but looking at the transits for the time-frame, I had just finished going through my Venus return in Virgo, and she was at the tale-end of her Mars return🤔???

Haven't had any dreams of her (that I can actually remember) at all since that second dream in 2015. I have been seeing her a bit more these past few years though. Usually I'll see her one every 7-8 years, then it flip-flops to once a year for 2-3 years, then repeats🤔 This is only the tip of the iceberg too.

Vansio, by "Lucid" I mean, that I was aware that I was dreaming, but couldn't wake up due to sleep paralysis. I'm not sure what else to tell you really, but that was going to be my next question, was she a part of my subconscious? Or was she really there spiritually? Or, was I apart of her dream. I know for a fact, that in synastry, we have lots of aspects to our Neptunes/Jupiters, plus Mercury rules both our 4th Houses and 12th Houses, and our Mercuries quintile each other's Mercury.

As I said already though, I could feel her energy, her enthusiasm, her excitement, as if she was right in front of me like those instances in real life where she would come up to me and wait patiently for me to invite her to dance, etc...

Thank you so much for your insightful suggestions, Vansio and mirage!

Hello Cardinal T-Square,
I think that if you dreamt so vividly about this girl/woman, it might have been "real", in the sense that you two met on the astral plane. It isn't necessarily so in all cases. Not every time one dreams of someone else, they actually met. At least I can say this from my own experience. But if the dream is vivid, Alive, it might be more than a purely symbolic dream.
Saying that, even true dreams have symbolic layers to them. Actually, so does "reality". You could analyze every facet of your life as a dream or a work of art, but that can also drive one nuts, if done with excess
