I should preface this by saying that I don't watch scary movies before bed, or eat food that can cause nightmares lol.It's about to get weird! I've been dreaming of a post apocalyptic place, over the span of a month. The dreams don't pick up where the other ones left off, per se, but I'm well aware that I'm "back in that place" again, while I'm dreaming... In the first dream [condensed to save everyone from a migraine] I find myself on a bus. Just suddenly there. I ask why I am on this bus, and I'm told I joined the army. I'm thinking that's ridiculous, because I'm way too old, and also, I'd never join the army (but I did almost join the navy once).
Anyway, I'm sort of observing things around me, and become aware that the bus has two sex robots on it. One male, and one female. The robots are dressed as mer-people. (I know, sigh. Wth) And the others on the bus explain to me that the army provides the use of these robots because they don't want anyone having sex and possibly becoming pregnant. No one was using them, but a few people were messing around with the robots/ pressing buttons and such... joking around.
I got up to mill about the bus a bit, and up front, seated, was my ex of ten years. We were joyous to see one another, and know someone on the bus. The next dream involved me living in some sort of commune/camp place. It was not nice, and no fun. We were made to toil all day, doing hard labor. My job had something to do with digging the ground. The soil was like rock, but I think they were trying to get it soft enough to plant things? Not sure. Anyway, in the evening we were allowed one hour of reunion time with our children. Mine are grown. So they brought me my granddaughter, Spencer. [Note: she is not born yet. My son and DIL had an ultrasound, it's a girl and they've named her Spencer, to be born this July].
So I play with the baby and enjoy that. Afterwards, it's time for dinner and I'm sent to a kitchen type room. Here's where it gets weird... there are freezers. Each freezer (regular size, fridge freezer) must feed 100 people. Each freezer is guarded by a chained up person. My freezer is looked after by my friend's mother, who has been dead a year. She silently opens the freezer and pulls out a piece (square) of frozen pizza and hands it to me. Next installation of dream:
I'm outside again, working. It's time to eat once more. We eat once a day. Someone hands me a packet. It's like flash frozen, freeze dried, idk... rations? Tiny, tiny package. It's see through. I look at it, and see that the freezing process must not have worked, because my meal is a miniature seahorse, and IT'S MOVING. I can see blood vessels, and heart pumping, ugh. No. I don't eat it. So these are snippets of my ongoing dramatic dream life... I'm not on a diet. I don't take any drugs. I have plenty enough money to feed myself... any thoughts?? Edited to correct spelling. These dreams are rich in details. I don't think it has necessarily something to do with your diet or choice of entertainment. Do you usually remember many details of your dreamlife, or these dreams stand out (beside their character)?
On the bus, it seems like you're on a journey. Think what the army means for you. Does it mean discipline? Controlled life (with the sex robots)? In a way, this is somewhat similar to you being hardworking in that commune in the next dream. In both cases you're part of a group with high demands from its members. Do you find any echo to it in your daily life?
What's the deal with not having babies? Is it something that concerns you at this time?
Finding your ex on the bus seemed to be like a nice surprise. Do you think these details of the dream's scenario reflect, in a way, the thoughts you have on the relationship with your ex? Or, perhaps you are reminded of a relationship you once felt could bear fruit.
In the commune dream you work hard, probably to make the ground ready to plant in. Could this, too, refer to fertility in your life, in every possible way? Could it be you wish for a "baby", or something you want to create or bring to this world, but you feel it would take a lot of effort to do so?
It seems like you anticipate the birth of your granddaughter... I wish for her good delivery, and happy times for both of you!
It's interesting you dreamt on a deceased person in regards to food. What do you think she represents in your dream world? You receive food, frozen food, from someone who passed away. And the next day your need-to-be-frozen food is alive! Much to do with life and death here in regards with food. Any thoughts of how does this reflect on either your actual diet, or the ideas with which you feed your mind?
The sea horse reminds me of the mer-people robots on the bus. What does the sea represent for you? The sea "creatures" you encounter are far from their natural surroundings (robots being even further away from the representaion of nature). Could it be you feel, sometimes, out of your element?What are your thoughts? Do you feel like you have some direction of your own, in relation to what I've suggested or else, concerning these dreams? Hello Dear! Thank you for your thought provoking response!I just had a look at my dream scribbles notebook (seriously, it looks like a serial killer writes in that thing 😂 I do it while I'm still half asleep) and I discovered I misspoke. In second dream my friend's dead mother doesn't hand me a square pizza, she hands me a square fish stick! It was similar to like a fish patty you'd get at fast food. AND my friend's mother was a PISCES. So now I have; mer-people, fish patty, pisces and seahorse. You're definitely on to something there.
I'll have to see if I'm having a Neptune transit. I love the sea, and wish to move near it once again. I'll be mulling over the rest of what you said, and add to it later. Many thanks! It really helps actually telling another person! ❤ IP: Logged |

I'm revisiting this today.This morning I was led to a news story about a couple from my town who are stuck on a cruise ship bobbing around SF because half of the people on the ship have tested positive for Covid. They mentioned "food rations" in the article. And it being a ship reminded me of the dream having those water references. Maybe a psychic dream? IP: Logged |
