Today I heard people are having heavy dreams around all these events (earthquakes, volcanic activities the current ww pandemic etc)I wonder if anyone here has had any out of the normal dreams lately? Please share if you remember or need to.

Removed my dream, it wasn't good though, pls read bottom line of my post)
never dream that dark so my fears or something else must have come thru in the dream world.

I was at the apartment I lived in when I was 24. That was the strangest, most haunted place I've ever lived.

Anyway, something compelled me to go outside at around 5 pm. When I went out the lobby door, there was a spaceship hovering. It was the disc style. It was so low, and so close that I could see the windows! My hair was blowing around.

I felt an enormous sense of awe and wonder. No fear at all.

Soon other tenants were coming out of other buildings. They were pointing up at it... filming and taking photos.

There was that electric feeling in the air, like right before a thunderstorm.

Then some fire trucks, police officers and other official type vehicles came screeching around the corner into the court. The ship hovered for another second or two, and then suddenly swooped off to my right, where there was a soccer field.

I felt very bereft to see it go.

But it hasn't been bad lately. Maybe it's because I've been lucky in that I've been surprisingly busy with unexpected rush jobs. I figured I'd barely get any work done at all but it seems I'm actually getting MORE work (though rush jobs which means more money and also more of a pleasant surprise, yet contributing to why I've been fading from these boards again, and will continue to do so for awhile).

Still, this was a fascinating one, and might be inspired by what's going on, so I'm sharing it.

I should also mention that the "logic" part of my brain tends to stir awake before I wake up. This is when I start to "think normally" rather than think in dream logic, and can also remember it easier after I wake up. (When I'm lucky I actually realize I'm asleep and can have lucid dreams that are fun.) What I'm about to share is when this started to happen, and for that same reason I only have brief, vague memories of what happened before this (and don't know why I was where I was, etc).

This is also the first time I ever dreamed of anything from Stranger Things

My first clear memory is walking into a house in which Billy and El/Jane are getting stoned while watching a movie. They appeared as in season 3, though for those who don't know, it wouldn't match the story at all. (I suspect that Billy and El/Jane together was some twisted reflection of me and an older cousin when we were kids, though that doesn't fit anymore than this fits with the show, so I don't know.)

I sit down beside them as they watch a movie on a large old TV set. It involves people fighting demons, and also a shady angel of sorts. I think this may have been partially inspired by the movie Legion.

But interesting enough, much of the movie action takes place in a large store parking lot that I dream about a lot (and I think earlier parts of my dream took place there), one that can get downright mystical and bizarre.

But I don't think about it. I just sit next to them as Billy is telling El that the angel that just saved them may not be a good guy. He could be part of a faction that wants the war between Heaven and Hell to get started already, or never should've ended, so he's putting the heroes in danger as mortals don't deserve angelic protection, or he might be a demon in disguise, or a rogue angel that's a wild card with his own agenda and plot complications.

El was so El as she listened, trying to understand the world outside the government lab she was raised in, taking a hit of the joint.

They both looked to me and after thinking about it (in the long way of stoners), Billy asked if I wanted a hit.

I said, "Not my drug of choice." Then figuring they'd both be able to handle it, I showed them my cat ears (don't ask, just go with it), and they both started laughing stoned, with Billy saying in a very stoned way (as in having to interrupt and repeat himself) that he thinks there's some catnip in the drawer in the kitchen.

I go to the kitchen and don't find any, but do find a bottle of peach brandy and I start bringing it back. While part of me thinks (showing I was about to wake up as my brain is starting to think as when awake) that I shouldn't give brandy to a kid, especially not a telekinetic one, I also figured she's already getting stoned anyway.

They're both looking at me stoned over the couch (forgetting the action on the TV) and Billy asks (in reference to my having cat ears), "So are you an angel or a devil?"

I answer, "I suppose that depends upon your perspective, many think one, others think the other."

Billy replies. "Wo. So what's my perspective?"

And then he and El turned to each other to laugh the laughter of the very stoned as I'm walking to them. I realize I have a pair of butterfly swords I made myself that use an energy source made on another world, and I'm well trained to use them against monsters on that world. But I don't know if it would work on either this world or the world of the Mind Flayer (as in the show), and even if it did I'm not sure I could take on the Mind Flayer. Still, I wonder if I should offer my help. I'm walking up to them thinking this, and also how to answer their question and whether I should offer to help, when I wake up.

I'm not sure what to make of it. But I think people are too prone to divide people into angels and devils now (not just over this virus, it's been going on for a few years now to the point it's insane now, but most people don't seem to realize how insane it is--and there is historical precedence to what I'm seeing now in society, though looking back on it most of us can agree it was an insane time). The media thrives on fear and anger and thus generates it, and the movie on TV could be a reflection of that and how one must practice media literacy (that is to recognize BS--which is NOT "saying things contrary to my personal beliefs"). The Mind Flayer had a way of "infecting" people, and IIRC, evil angels were infecting human beings in the movie Legion (I didn't watch it that closely and it's been awhile since I saw it). And I do see people also becoming a bit zombiefied. (I actually think my zombie nightmares, in general, represent my fear of becoming part of the world that demands conformity and lack of one's own thinking--though of course you're supposed to call it all original and being yourself as long as in actuality you conform mentally and physically--or put in perhaps more understandable terms, becoming like my mother.)

I'm in awe of this so far since I'm a ST fan myself. Hopefully you won't go in a sauna with Billy. Ok .. back after I finish.

In the dream it seemed maybe you took the Max angle? Just a thought maybe you identify with her a bit? And YES! I so get that fencing aspect the world has delivered upon us. Either you're good or bad. But the real question is WHO is the judge of angel/devil or good/bad? We are being sliced and diced in all categories of reality. Mind Flay in it's way I suppose.

The media (news specifically) is really feeding the fear frenzy we are experiencing in this world now. Many are getting more angry, paranoid, sad ~ with much reason. It's traumatic to us to throw us into a complete culture shock
I did see Legion and remember parts of it. I think I recall the support characters mostly turning zombie like. I've been seeing this angelic/heavenly war myself. Most people don't observe it, my family is, what many refer to as asleep. You are wide awake PixieJane, that dream seemed so big and powerful. Like coming out of the ocean desiring that breath of oxygen.
The swords or light sabers make complete sense. Maybe their raw side butterfly wings, to fly free?

This zombie concept isn't far from truth.
Your dream was just enhancing what you know but reminding you to notice the sleepers walking around. Almost like Morpheus training Neo, when he's reminded distractions woman in a red dress can take him off his objective. Idk .. movies and tv do deliver wisdom when we peel away unnecessary layers (plain entertainment).

That would be a good guess. I did relate to Max in Season 2 (less so in season 3). I was a skateboarder, and I was expressive, even more so than I am now (which got me into a lot of trouble with authority figures). I was her age in the 90s, but in the 80s I very well may have played at the arcade (as it is, around age 20, I became a master of Ms. Pacman at some laundromat I used to go to), but I was more a reader and gaming was moving more and more into the home by then. (I suppose if I had more money I might've still gotten into them.) In the right light my hair can even appear red (technically I'm a strawberry blonde) with my dad having red hair very much like Max.

I had a very eclectic group of friends growing up, and included some geeks, and I played my first Role Playing Game at 16, and Dungeons & Dragons when I was 17 (heck, I was a geek myself without realizing it, though it wasn't how I was perceived by others who tended to see me as a tomboy at best, and juvie/criminal at worst). Put me there in the show, at least season 2, and I could easily fill Max's slot.

I had a stormy, but ultimately loving relationship with my older cousin who had long (though blond) hair like Billy. (Still, people can be horrified of some of the things we did with and to each other as kids, and I'm lucky to have not lost a hand or an eye to his pranks and bad behavior--and I did beat the hell out of him once, though I was only able to because he was laughing too hard to defend himself properly. He took me to a keg party once and we did both pot and shrooms together, along with his friends. He was also an underaged smoker. As adults, we laugh at all the stupid things we did together and against each other as kids, especially when both of us lived together with our grandmother than with our respective parents.)

That aside, good thoughts on the dream which I still don't know what to make of. Associating the energized butterfly swords with butterfly wings hadn't occurred to me, but part of their energy source allowed me to manipulate gravity so I could, in a matter of speaking, fly simply by controlling how gravity effected me, but only for a short while.
