I wasnīt really sure where to post this but I hope this is the right subforum. Last night I dreamt of three cards. Just that. There wasnīt any context, but oftentimes I find that many of the most symbolic dreams Iīve had donīt have any, they are just animals or objects that present themselves to me.First card from left to right was the King of swords. Second one was the King of goblets and it was upside down. Third one was the Knight of swords. I am not familiar with card meanings. I did have a tarot reading done to me like 2 years ago about a specific question and I remember that the woman who did it used "person" cards (king, queen, etc) as a representation of people entering her clients life, but that's all I know.

This is the forum of dreams, but it seems to me you could get answers for the spread that appeared in your dream in the sub-forum "through the looking glass". I know that the king of swords may refer to Libra or Libra-like issues (the need for harmony, compromise, etc.), while the king of goblets relates to Cancer or to emotions, home, etc. I am no expert for reversed cards. I saw in my book two different spreads of 3 cards: one is past-present-future, and the other is sitter-partner-the relationship. There could be additional options for 3 cards' spread. Try to ponder what question comes to your mind in relation to this spread. Think what is bothering you lately, or else calls it to your attention. Figuring out what this spread is trying to deliver to you would probably solve your dream. The knight of swords, according to my book, can signify that the sitter decided to act for the sake of a certain goal, but is rush and therefore may lose. The card shows courage, decisiveness and confidence, but the sitter is advised to slow down a bit and be careful not to hurt others' emotions. Once you know what is the question, you can interpret the spread for an answer, and you can use "through the looking glass" sub-forum for that. Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

Hello M1313, King of Swords could be: An authoritative person of intellect (father figure, boss or Professor) He could have spoken to someone (you?) unbalanced (King of Cups is about balance). Possibly unfair or not sober. (rev) Goblet could be an alcoholic. Perhaps you csme accross as the knight of swords. Standing in truth speaking with a sharp truth. Indicating this King has a problem and it needs resolved. Idk .. roles could be reversed or any key people you know in past/present/ future is possible. In a dream, you could have been working through it. The knight Victorious, honest, delivering truth from a white horse. Pure.
