I keep meaning to write them down, but I’ve mostly forgotten them. One small part that I remember, was an entity in the form of a puffy, cartoon-like cloud, trying to suck me into it. That was last night. Another part was in a house that I dreamed of a couple of months ago - new to me, a lot of windows, huge house, bay windows that are also like their own little rooms on the second floor. Last week, I dreamed that someone was trying to kill me. On Sunday, I dreamed of a group of people grabbing at me, on the street, like annoying teenagers. The same dream had me eating in a nice restaurant, but the bathrooms were like something out of a long-abandoned building. I’m not looking for interpretations, I just wondered if anyone else was being inundated with dreams that have them thinking “WTF?” When they are in them, and/or when they wake up. IP: Logged |

Hi teasel, I'm not suggesting any interpretation. The dream of the cloud sounds interesting, imaginative. I can tell you most of my dreams are very realistic. When I wake up from a dream and have questions about it, it can happen when I don't like the message of the dream, though this is one example regarding my approach, not necessariy yours or anybodyelse's. It happened to me latey, in a dream suggesting I will have to give up writing in the future in order that I focus on being helpful toward others. Upon waking it did feel like a sacrifice, and a painful one at that. But realy, sometimes the dream can feel like a riddle, when you don't understand the 'why' of it. Lately I dreamed of someone from my past, a nightmare kind of dream (he was trying to break into my house), and there was no apparent reason why to dream of him now. Some members here, like mirage, are looking into astrology to find out reasons for such astral appearances. I guess I might also assume there was a synchronicity with that person who appeared in the dream, or otherwise something in my life, which I am not aware of, has triggered my subconscious that way. What I want to say is that I believe there's a source to each dream (don't buy the 'nonsense' theory saying it's random garbage of the subconscious, but rather actual experiences, even if of a symbolic nature). If you write a dream journal, it can help track layers of meaning connected with waking hours' life.IP: Logged |
