2nd time having similar dreams, idk what they could mean. I keep seeing a morgue, with bodies everywhere, and in my dream im just too scared to even go near them , I see about 3 different people walking around ( I dont know these people) and for some reason we tend to push out the bodies outside (it looks like a big countryside back yard) and we light the bodies up on fire, black smoke everywhere and in both dreams I always start praying "our father (lords prayer)". I tend to have dreams of corpses and graveyards a lot. Any thoughts? Thanks (:IP: Logged |

Do you feel like you're going through a spiritual transformation? Maybe your religious outlook is changing, and new ideas take the place of old ones?The dead bodies can point to a deep change. You and the others take them out of the morgue, outside - stepping out of the comfort zone, liberation. You burn them while you pray a christian prayer - burning a body is a hindu ritual. Two religions combine here. Perhaps your spirituality is growing beyond the differences between religions and cultures. Fire is a purifying element. It shows the old it being destroyed completely in a cleansing way to make way for the new. The prayer sanctify whatever it is that come to pass. IP: Logged |

I will tell you my experience and you can see if there are any similarities, and perhaps can indicate what it means for you.
When I had dreams of dead bodies, and morgues, it was years ago and these dreams would terrify me. Some of the bodies would come to life in the morgue and come out. Sometimes I'd even dream of rows and rows of dead bodies on stretchers, and some of them rising and coming to life.
Occasionally, I would feign that I was dead so the living-dead could not touch me.
Life wise, what was going on for me, is that I had recently gotten out of a relationship. He wasn't a bad person, but it's just a side fact. I felt very guilty as well, because I wanted us to work but we couldn't. I carried a big burden of guilt, loneliness, sadness. And it also felt like my emotional weakness at the time was "attracting" negative spirits. I would have loads of different dreams involving death, and occasionally fire.
Eventually my guilt made me vulnerable enough o get involved with someone who was no good, and this also had a bad effect on me and took some years to get over the hurt.
I am better now and don't have those dreams anymore. I am stonger and wiser, as well, but I wonder if your emotional life at the moment is chaotic, or if you feel vulnerable? IP: Logged | |
