a small flying weird bat caught my attention in a dream the other night. i helped me to realized i was in a dream and became lucid. i was so excited, i knew i could find the shadow that had been really making life a little rough at night. I found my house, ran inside, saw a big ass shadow dude by my bed. I ran over and grabbed him, had crazy armor all balck and like 6 ft 7. lol. its waist felt too small, and familiar. Shrinky dinked down and insiode the shadow was my long time, on and off again girlfriend. i said "layyydeeee!" and gave her a big hug. for realz . this was the hardest thing i ever had to write, sorry if its a little wavy.

It sounds like your girlfriend is part of you, as she's inside your shadow.. maybe being with her helps you embrace your shadow. Since this is a lucid dream, what is this shadow that makes your nights rough?

The bat is connected with getting out of the darkness, and here you're catching the shadow and "undress" it for what it really is..

she hasn't been around, but recently came back into my life for the past year . i am sober and she was still a very bad alcoholic. She eventually tried to kill herself about three weeks ago, she is in a rehab now.the night time thing is when i sleep i would have paralysis at all weird places, and see the shadow. it was creeping it out because i wasnt sure how to deal with it. during the day, it would happen in my house. fun stuff.

i actually was so frustrated that i was thnking in the shower the other day that if the shadow would meet me on common ground, i would whoop his ass, somewhere that we both move the same. got my chance, surprise when i just found my lady instead!

Wow, that's sure a lot going on, and it's interesting, as you recognised your girlfriend in the shadow. I wonder what's the meaning of the paralysis, maybe it has to do with some helplessness to deal with the situation, and the shadow that appears - her coming as your shadow with which you're forced to deal, an entity attached to her because of alcoholism, in any case you'll see if after this lucid dream you'll still see the shadow and have these paralysises. Maybe because she's in rehab now you could find her and hug her, maybe it's a sign she'll come back to herself. 🙏

oh yeah, and sprinkle on that the fact that i am going through an awakening and i just sat there and ate up all the stuff she spun up that was in her head, i was hoping she would run out of gas and i would just cry alot. and take the load if thats possible. but it came to a head eventually. thank you for responding, i appreciate it.

she called last night! MY LAYYYDEEEEE! best night ever, she is good, wary, and seeing that it is her who must change, not the people around her. so hopefully she comes and continues to grow with me. time will tell.
