I suppose eagles could represent different things for different people depending on the feelings, beliefs, perceptions, etc of the individual, but maybe in an archetypal sense, eagle represents far seeing and acute seeing/perception, freedom from earthly concerns, messages from the nonphysical and guidance, or the like.

Reminds me of a dream I had many years ago, where I was in the backyard of my grandparents (where I lived at for a time during childhood), and there was a rather large and gray'ish male eagle, and then to his side and somewhat behind, there was a smaller, female eagle.

The male eagle spoke to me in what sounded like a Native American language to me. I had no idea what he was saying, but it seemed important, and I got a sense of deep wisdom, power, and centered peace from him. Don't really remember too much else.

But what it was really about, was that I think it was a symbolic remembrance of a nonphysical interaction wherein I was talking with a guide/helper type. My conscious, personality mind in cahoots with my subconscious Soul mind translated the helper/guide into an eagle form because symbolically, it represented that this guide/helper was particularly far and acute seeing i.e. very aware and wise.

The Native American part is pretty self explanatory--likely he had his last material experience as a Native American and carried over some remembrance of, and identification with, that human experience.

The reason I ask is because Scorpio's lesser known animal is the eagle. Both Scorpion and Eagle are meant to represent two different sides of Scorpio's nature, depending on the affinity of the individual.

Perhaps you are incorporating more of the "eagle" side.
