Hi! I haven’t posted here in a while, hope everyone is well! I keep having a dream of an old coworker - who I don’t interact with in the dream, and they just watch from afar or are working in the background but I never go up to talk to them and they never come up to talk to me. We never interact in the dream which is weird since we had a pretty good working relationship in real life. What could this mean? Thank you! IP: Logged |

Hi MMarie, good to see you here!Could it be that the distance between you and your old coworker in the dream is due to the real distance between you right now, as a result of you two not working together anymore, and is less expressing an emotional distance that was not present between you? Maybe this dream comes to show you this person is still in the background of your thoughts and existance, evrn now when you don't see them day to day. Perhaps they don't play one of the lead roles in your life right now, but they're still there. IP: Logged |

Hi Ayelet! Hope you are well! Thanks for the reply - it does make a lot of sense. They were such a big part of my life day to day for years. I think of them now every once in a while but maybe they are living more in my subconscious and that’s why in my dreams they are in the background. It’s a bit frustrating when I wake up because part of me wishes I confronted them or spoke to them in my dreams. Maybe I wish to speak to them now in real life?
