Just curious...I had a dream I was passing out cat treats while on a childhood home (which is usually not a good place in my dreams, but seemed okay, and I felt adult as well as safe and alone, like it was my place). Among the cats were a skunk and hedgehog. I don't care for skunks, and never seen a real hedgehog (have seen opossums which I also dislike if grudgingly tolerate as free pest control, but I think this was a hedgehog), but I reacted to them just like they were cats, giving them treats as well.

Any thoughts on that?

The hedgehog and skunk could be newly found and accepted aspects of the self, that could have been burried since childhood. You are the adult in the dream, and you acknowledge the child in you by giving cat treats. It sounds to me like a healing dream.
