Last night I dreamt I awoke in a hospital room waiting to see my adopted newborn baby. I first saw two nurses with a crib that had a blanket with red hearts on it, but the crib was empty. I asked where my baby was, the nurses said they didn’t know, then, my former husband came in the room and told me “don’t worry, I got this” and that he would go and find out where my baby was. He came back and the baby who I couldn’t tell if it was a girl or boy, looked like a newborn, then I held it in my arms and it started growing into a toddler, it had beautiful skin and really curly hair. I was happy in the dream and a little shocked.I’m curious to know what this dream means…thank you! IP: Logged |

I suspect your dream may suggest your relationship with your former husband bore fruit. You may have grown through your connection, and received something from it. It is interesting to note this is an adopted newborn, so you may have "adopted" something from your relationship which was not primarily yours, not a natural inherent trait of yours, but something you made part of your life, psyche or both.What do you think? Hello Ayelet,
Thank you for your interpretation on my dream! I’d say it’s pretty accurate! My former and I have a decent friendship in which I am grateful for. I am interested in adopting one day as well. I just remember being so shocked when I saw the newborn, like I was literally in awe. What I inherited from it was a sense of hope and renewal.
