red or yellow, black or white
let us strive with all our might
each a small part of the Light
that will set our world arightpeople, can we not strive for more global UNITY rather than disharmony and contention? we each hold a "peace" of that--let us use it wisely and lovingly it is unthinkable that we should look upon other cultures in any way but in the light of that old familiar children's hymn we all learned when we were little. can we not apply it as adults?

Sparring? hehe... you haven't seen me in action yet,I've had a few doosey dogfights go on in Lindaland and believe me,I think that there are a couple of them out there that want to take the challenge with me,but you know "such as life on the internet"! 
I don't always leave,but you also know that in life "dudy calls" and I got things that need to get done! I do pop in and out once in a while,when I get the chance!

O...there is something about you, i can't put my finger on just what it is, but as "fired up" as you get about issues, you do not seem to have the insulting kind of anger that i have experienced elsewhere...
it is "good, clean sparring" ;o)just wanted you to know how i appreciated that...i guess you stick to issues, and do not let it get personal. that's the kind of interaction where you can actually learn something. i have valued your perspectives, and it has helped to broaden mine catch up with ya later IP: Logged |

Why thank you Raine6,I'm glad to know that some people here notices that,but I tell you the truth, their has been times that I called people things,but I do try to keep that under watch for the most part and then sometime I like to just out right tell someone that I think of that person like an &@#$!*&!,but I try to hold my...

thanks, O. glad it wasn't, but i truly know what you feel. eckhart tolle describes those feelings so perfectly, with humor and insight, in his book, "The power of now"we all possess these residual feelings, our inheritance from the planet when we come here. it's like what i call layers of granite, such as that which surrounded the faces on mt. rushmore. they cover up our true identity, but they are powerful, and they "seize us" with them and control us, we do not control them, nor our wandering minds the mind is a terrible thing to waste, 'tis true, and that is what we do when we allow it to rule us like it does. i just want to share with others the joy and peace that comes from meditating--and i have barely begun! i have ADD, and my mind doesn't skip a beat, even when my heart does, so it has not been easy to meditate but as i just assume the observer position, noting what the mind is doing, what the emotions are feeling, accept them and send them on their way in peace, without judgment, it is something to which i look forward now, this meditating. i am by no means an expert, just sharing something i have found very helpful for me. if i can learn to meditate, anyone can! happy meditating  IP: Logged | |
