no, this is not from america, and that is not an american speaking
it is from a young israeli, one of five who are now in prison
why? israel is apparently less tolerant than we are about not going along with "the plan"
but then they have been at it longer...long enough for these young men to grow up witnessing the slow dehumanization that was diminishing both the arabs and the jews--the dehumanization that we have only begun here in america
they refused to be a part of what they concluded was wrong enough that they were willing to face prison
