It is really barbaric for sure. But this is the type of mentality we are up against in most cases. I think the Muslim people here for the most part are fairly more open-minded (though I could be wrong about that). But the mentality overseas is a scary matter.....IP: Logged |

It really seems like a simple matter of Good-vs-Evil. Tolerance vs Intolerance. Global Unity vs defending the Id factor. I know that's oversimplifying things, but if you clear your mind of all the other clutter and "yeah, BUT they... yeah, BUT we... yeah BUT (whatever)..." it IS that simple. IP: Logged |

If I were a man in Iraq who had lost his entire family and life because we decided to drop a bomb on them all. I wonder if I would think that was barbaric? If I were an abused prisoner. I wonder who I would think of as barbaric? If my child had no legs because of one of your bombs. I wonder if I would consider you barbaric? I sometimes wonder how we justify things to ourselves, just so that we can live with them more easily. It's all barbaric. I just depends on which side your on that's all. Gia IP: Logged |
