FYI, I don't think jwhop and Isis ever had a problem with each other. Signed, A True Woman (last I checked, which was just a moment ago. I know what rests in my heart)

Good to see you Meili quote: True Global Unity is the Dance of the Male and the Female where each identifies weakness in the other and where each strives to reflect that which is innately Divine
Could this also be called "The Spiritual Dance of our Birthright" ? ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

Hello Meili, I wanted to comment that while you did not direct your attention to me, I correctly understood at once the subtle point you were making (in regards to Jwhop and Isis). I did not think it was a mistake on your part, or a confusion of names. I think you raised a valid point. One that is worth looking into. But another question -----How do you (personally) define a True Man or Woman? If it is the striving to reflect that which is innately divine, I believe that some here (myself included, if I may be so bold) are at least attempting to do this, though we may not always succeed. Would it be fairer to say that no one has reached perfection here (that I am aware of) but that we continue to reach towards greater heights (in terms of character development, basically speaking)? To answer my own last query, if I may: I believe so. I guess my main purpose is not to put you on the spot by means of posing a yes or no question (though I am interested in your answer). Rather, I am trying to understand your thoughts more precisely.IP: Logged |

quote: And all things are as they should be.
And so, that is the greatest truth of all, and the wisest of words. If we only believed them, then we wouldn't worry about changing or judging anyone, for anything. Some of us boogie. Some of us ballroom. Some of us twist. No dance is greater than any other. None of us is more valuable than any other. We are one, but we are not the same. Now. Shake it like a polaroid picture. I would add that invoking the Presence of the Divine is redundant...because it already exists in All Things. If God/dess created the Heavens and Earth and All Things, then we need to remember that God/dess created balance in positive and negative, light and dark, good and bad, war and peace, white and black...down to every atom there is postive and negative. The Yin and Yang of Life. To be in balance, All Things, including LL, must contain Positive and Negative. Out of this perception of negativity at LL, there will be positive. It's a given. Quote:"Words, good or bad, invoke presence" _____________________________________ This is very well put and it reminds me of the something along the lines of what the Buddha is said to have spoken, namely that we should be careful what we say as words can be used "for good or for ill". Thank you again, Meili, for this important reminder and also for explaining .... IP: Logged |
