QS, no offense intened, but do you honestly believe JW needs you to come in and make his arguments for him?JW doesn't seem the type to require charity work. Is it possible true that you were mirroring JWs posts because it is actually what you believe? I find my post pointing out that pro-choicers will not be convinced that abortion is murder to be equally as noteworthy as your post that pro-lifers won't be convinced it's not. IP: Logged |

TINKI said you cannot legislate morality but you can legislate responsibility for one's own actions. I did not say you cannot legislate against abortion, which is not legislating morality. Legislating against abortion is in fact legislating responsibility for one's own actions. IP: Logged |

Oh how I love a double negative!  God Bless you, sir.Why do you want to legislate against abortion? If not for reasons of morality, it can only be because you are convinced that the fetus is due the same rights as you or I. And you have not proven this. What's more, you are seemingly unwilling to take a gander down that "bumpy" path. "legislating responsibility for ones own actions"? I will be late for work today (to some degree because I feel compelled to respond to you). Very irresponsible, no? What's the punishment? You will say, "but you haven't hurt anyone except yourself". Some of us belive an abortion is not murder and therefore hurts no one - save possibly ourselves. Basically I'm left with no other option then to assume you wish to legalize abortion because you want to punish those you deem promiscuous. Tempting to be sure, but unAmerican and decidedly unChristian. IP: Logged |
