Last night!!! Laughed my butt off.

I was surprised by what they could get away with under a R rating. Funny, funny, funny, plus it didn't have any reference to the election, which was a wise idea on their part.

My boyfriend and I have been walking around like puppets all day today, cracking each other up. My favorite part was the big joke: There are three kinds of people . . .

That joke says it all. You did realize that the D are conservatives, P are liberals, and A are terrorists/dictators, right? Only one and a half inch apart!

I sure wouldn't want my grand kids to see that movie because from the trailers I have seen in the ads it seems to promote violence and hatred.

I haven't seen the movie so I might be wrong in my assessment but I think teens see way too much violence in the media as it is.

I haven'tseen it either, but from the previews, it looks like it might be fuel for a fire waiting to happen... Hope not!

OOOOH... now I know what it is! I love Trey Parker and Matt Stone!

The did this movie a long time ago called Cannibal! The Musical. Soooo funny.

I have to agree with Randall, though. I wouldn't let a 13 year old see anything by Trey and Matt. They are definately adult comedy.

Thanks for the trailer

Just saw it tonight

Eleanore, don't let the kiddo see it. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are so foul... it's hilarious, but hardly appropriate for a child. This movie goes beyond South Park's antics There's even puppet porno scene... and it's super graphic and SUPER funny!

I haven't seen a movie THAT funny in ages. I love those guys! They're so creative... and not afraid to take risks.

Me? Or is noreenz named Eleanore for real? I don't have a 13 year old ... immortal or not it just would be right at my "age".

hated it. and i don't hate many things.

too violent
too graphic
too mean-spirited
too much unnecessary &+$!@$$*+%@#$@!%+ words

liked the background scenery... before they'd all get blown up, etc.

I love all those @#%#@% words... they make me laugh... and OMG when Spotwood made him go down on him.....

Oh... and Randall, I think your assessment of the D's the P's and the A's are right on

Most D's need a P looking over their shoulder to make sure they're not reeking havoc

Sometimes these guys make fun of both sides of the political spectrum to the point where it's difficult to see if they are conservative or mocking conservatism, but I think liberalism definitely got most of the brunt in this movie. Seeing what happened to Michael Moore and those commie actors was alone worth the price of admission.

Well, still haven't seen it. But have forbid my son from going to see it. Apparently he has a few friends that have seen it, which kinda disturbs me. (hmm?)
When a good friend of mine came back and said she wouldn't even allow her son to see it, I knew it was bad.........cuz, she is way more liberal than I on these matters. She gave it a thumbs down, which surprised me because she can be really foul mouthed and crass.................yeah, so not sure if I'll even bother...........but from the trailer, my son does a really funny imitation, which has us all roll'in.

Thanks to all for your advice.

Havent seen it yet but Im gonna see it this weekend. You gotta understand Trey and Matt's purposes in order to not get offended by the violence and naughty language. They enjoy pushing the limits and if they offended anyone with their work, then they feel like they did their job correctly.

Matt and Trey enjoy taking shots at both sides of the political spectrum and I have came to my own conclusion that they dont support either side. When they vote they probably just vote for whichever one they think is slightly better than the other and dont worry about what party they are in. Thats the impression I get from the way they portray their views in their work.

As a big South Park fan, I enjoyed this "puppet" movie very much.

------------------
"Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation...so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type...I'm like, 'hey girl, magenta!' and she's like, 'oh, you mean purple!' and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, 'no - I want magenta!'"

Heard a rumor that they are doing a sequel if Romney wins.
