What is Schizotypal Personality Disorder?
Quick Summary:

Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.
Symptoms of Schizotypal Personality Disorder:

* Odd or eccentric mannerisms or appearance
* Superstitious or preoccupied with paranormal phenomena
* Difficult to follow speech patterns
* Feelings of anxiety in social situations
* Suspiciousness and paranoia
* Odd beliefs or magical thinking
* Appears shy, aloof, or withdrawn to others

"They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way."
"Odd beliefs or magical thinking"

Um... YEAH. They're coming to take us away haha... they're coming to take us away hoho

Only a "moderate" schitzo here. They also think I am moderately paranoid because I would rather work alone than in a group, because I don't trust others to put in the proper effort.
Bah. "You're not paranoid if they are really out to get you." hehe
And I had a can koosie (yes, that is really how you spell it, I checked) once that said, "Only the paranoid survive!"
Now I will flee the Global Unity forum... the government might be watching.... shhhhh
hehe

Schizotypal Personality Disorder....HMMMM!

Sounds like those type of people like to spend most their time in front of a PC, on some astro-occult site and argue about past, present and/or future events, that isn't directly about themselves!

Thank God that I don't know anybody that is like that!

Wow! Jwhop reaching out. I'm glad to see that you have it in you.

I suppose any person's chart is affected by transits pretty much all the time.

Here are the ones listed on astro.com for yesterday:

Venus Sextile Mercury exact at 06:17
Sun Opposition Pluto, exact at 20:44
Moon Trine Moon, exact at 10:39
Moon Trine Ascendant, exact at 16:11
Moon Trine Pluto, exact at 18:42
Moon Sextile Mars, exact at 07:05
Moon Sextile Neptune, exact at 21:28
Moon enters Aquarius, 11:21

Important long-term influences: (for subscribers)

"On target" (Saturn Sextile Pluto)
"A dominant personality" (Mars in the 1st House)
"Artistic matters" (Venus in the 10th House)

Aside from that I see that my transiting Saturn is widely Square Uranus. It's 9 degrees past. It's roughly 120 degrees away from Neptune. Done the opposite way, transiting Uranus is in a good square orb to my natal Saturn, so good call there. Transiting Saturn and transiting Neptune aren't quite opposite, but since they're both transiting wouldn't that mean that they're on opposite sides of the chart for everyone right now?

Pid mentioned Pluto going through Sag where I have a stellium. Currently, Pluto's past all those planets. It's 9 degrees past Mercury, and 8 degrees away from my Sun, so it's conjunct my Sun/Mercury midpoint. Tim Wilson would probably say something like Pluto (transformation) is combining with my mental (Mercury) self-expression (Sun). So that's an interesting transit going on.

Jupiter is actually all over me right now. My Moon is transiting my natal Jupiter (in the 8th), and Jupiter is transiting my Sun/Moon (emotional self-expression) midpoint in Scorpio. The implications there I can't get into. Jupiter's going to be visiting me a lot in the next year and a half.

As far as symptoms:

Nothing going right, etc.

Things are going along pretty well. I was employee of the month last month. I'm hearing that I'm doing a great job through a Sag friend who is also friends with my (Aries) boss. My boss apparently loves that I put everything into writing for him.

I've also recently initiated recording my music on my own. I hope even my online friends will help with the collaboration now that there's a decent free recording software available. Wouldn't it be great to hear Pix sing over my music?

I just started investing for the first time. GE was my first pick, and it's been losing a few cents every day since.

So, like I told Pid. There's just stuff going on. I can't devote the time necessary to have prolonged, drawn out debates with people who won't budge or listen. I do admit, though, I felt tremendously different than normal with regard to our debates during that period.

Feeling of doom

Definitely not feeling that right now. All this Jupiter/Scorpio action has got me a bit horny, but that's the only feeling that's more dramatic than usual.

-----------------------------------

So, thanks for the concern. That really was a sweet gesture. I honestly mean that.

Mercury is supposed to be my chart ruler with my Ascendant being in Gemini if I'm not mistaken, but Saturn is really the ruler of my chart. From being a Capricorn, to having Saturn in the 1st, to having a Capricorn NN (conjunct Jupiter), to Saturn being in opposition to three planets, there is no escaping Saturn's grip on my chart.

* what an incredibly odd post ^^ It's late!

It seems I am crazy after all...

Schitzotypal: High
Borderline: Very High
Dependent: High
Obsessive Compulsive: High

Everything else was low... but that is not good. LOL. If I were to take this seriously, that is.

Jeesh, stay out of GU for a year and come back to find out I'm a nutcase!

Glad to know all of you are at least a little sane. What would the rest of us crazies do without you?

You can count me in the schizo club. It said I was moderately (is that all?) schizotypal. You'd think it'd be higher seeing as how I was diagnosed by actual psychiatrists some years ago as having had a case of schizophreniform. I must have done a good job returning to relative sanity. *pats self on back*

It also said I was moderately histrionic..
pshah! LOL

Oh

It was only a few weeks ago that someone said to me GU wasnt a place where we confronted people personally, only their views.....

I find this forum, at times, can get very personal and most of the time is not done in a compassionate way,

AG.....you, as many have said before me, are one of the most mature and sincere of people here......

You are well supported and liked.....you know this, but we all, at times, need validation,

love

Sock puppets eh, Ozone?

Have you ever considered the possibility "you" might be a figment of your imagination?

Yeah, sometimes I do JW and other times I think that the whole world is something that is really being staged and I'm just being some sort of a scientific experiment in the greatest public exhibit in the world!

OK Pid, I've been sitting in front of this PC for over 2 weeks, still waiting for you to give me the proper answer.

When do you think that you'll do that?
