I don't really think the government would actually plot to attack its own people and business. I don't think most people believe this either. But there are always theories. And I think the government knew the potential for an attack was greater than they led on. Ok, what's the next lie. IP: Logged |

I'm only asking you to give me facts to back up the claims you seem to be making. You're always saying people are fooled, lost and don't know or don't follow the truth, and that they need to go within to find the truth. Maybe if you state what the lies are people can go search for the truths themselves.

But for some reason Lotus you give the impression of all knowing...that only you have found the truth. Your opinion seems to be everything that jwhop posts is the truth. That's hardly your own opinion. Most everyone knows that he will post anything and everything including lies to back up his arguments. IP: Logged |

Sorry Lotus if Ive insulted you. You have a habit of insulting others people too, you know. You seem to think everyone's lost and is without truth.Petron, I do think that the 9/11 attacks were used for the government's political ends. But can't get my head around them directly orchestrating the attacks. I think they knew what they were getting themselves into though...so indirectly in a way. IP: Logged |

i agree DD, i dont think they 'direclty' orchestrated them, although i would believe there were those who followed the plan all along, step by step, and may have even covertly facilitated things to make sure they were succesful.....the northwoods plot only shows that its not improper at all to suggest more direct theories, as there are those who would try to do anything to justify their political ends...... Maybe I missed something but it seems to me the mass media got behind the official 9-11 explanation with hardly a peep of dissension. The so-called alternative press, on the other hand, seems willing to take the bait on any and all crazy theories thrown their way. Theories so outlandish, in fact, they make it all the more easy to accept the official story. The official story wins by default. Nice how that works, huh?So who's lying? Exactly who is fooling the masses? Petron ~ a nice reminder of the glory days w/ that link. In general, I feel that it's silly and unnecessarily risky to do the dirty work yourself when others are chomping at the bit to do it for you. In these cases, simply grease the wheels and get out of the way. For gosh sakes, doesn't anyone read Machiavelli anymore?! Am I the only mad tyrant left on this board!?! IP: Logged |

Lotus, Seeing as how Blue Roamer has brought up something I've been thinking alot about lately, I can't bite my tongue any longer.I have actually found myself somewhat offended by alot of your remarks around here lately. You always say that people need to look within to see the truth (read: your truth). Well, I have looked deep within myself all my life to find my way to the realizations I have come to, to this place within me from where I percieve the world around me and yet my opinions seem radically different from yours. (I say seem because I'm not entirely sure what your opinions are and I'm basing my perception of them from the observations I've made of you, which is that you generally agree with what jwhop posts and that you disagree with mine and others like Petron, Acoustic God, Rainbow, Mirandee, TINK, Salome et al. ) It bothers me that if anybody has an opinion different that yours, it seems that you assume they are not looking within themselves and they are just abunch of brainwashed... whatevers. Well the fact is that I am very introspective about the world and the general state of affairs and the more I look within, the farther I get from agreeing with the opinions you (apparently) hold. So I would really appreciate it if you have nothing better to say than "if only they would look within to see the truth" or some such variation, that you consider not posting that unless it is followed by some more substance that reveals something that we don't already know about you. Because, as someone who "looks within" and sees a worldview almost diametric to yours, it frankly bothers me to continually read the same offensive response. ------------------ Thomas Jefferson to George Logan, 1816: "I hope we shall... crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."
"According to Business Week, the average CEO [Chief Executive Officer] made 42 times the average blue-collar worker's pay in 1980, 85 times in 1990 and a staggering 531 times in 2000." -- AFL-CIO "Executive Paywatch" "Of course, I have as much power as the President has." -- Bill Gates, in "The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth", Wired, November 2000 IP: Logged |

Assuming that others haven't "looked within" simply because they have not reached the same conclusions as you.Personally, although I might not agree with them all of the time, I have no reason to believe Harpyr or Daydreamer or Rainbow aren't thoughtful sorts. In fact, their posts show the opposite. It wouldn't do for us all to be alike, you know? IP: Logged |

I'm sorry if you feel attacked, lotusheartone. That was not my intention and it was the reason I'd been not saying anything.. ..but seeing that I wasn't the only one who was bothered by your remarks, I thought maybe I should speak up about my feelings too.I don't know how to explain my feelings any better than I already did... It's constantly pointing out that since people just aren't looking within themselves.... they don't see the truth...that upsets me....because I look within for the truth....and the truth is whispered in my ear that our Mother is deeply hurting...that we must change our ways in order to bring balance back to the natural world.. and thereby back to ours-elves as well. That is the truth that I find within me...Why do you not believe me? IP: Logged |

I believe that also..and it is imperative that we wake up and change today..and stop blaming..and pray..and see a better World Now..before it's too late..for too many..there are different outcomes for the future..what we do and say..our actions..affect this outcome. ...IP: Logged |

Great! Now I know something about you that I didn't before...it seems that you and I are operating from a similiar conclusion... That things are messed up and need changing. Well there, that's good to know.Now.. here's where we probably take different paths.. I feel that criticism of those in positions of power who are making it very difficult to change the things that need changing is an important piece of the overall puzzle. That is not the same as blaming. What do you think? IP: Logged |
