The following articles come from Veterans for Justice. Americans need to know the truth regarding the Republican record of troop support instead of all the propaganda lies being told to both our military and the American public. Anyone can check the voting records of the Repbulican House and Congress to verify the following information. Americans need to know the truth about how our government takes care of those who have fought their wars.

George W. Bush - AWOL from Supporting our Troops

Between tax cuts for the rich, war profits for Halliburton, or support for our troops - which does the Bush Administration choose, time and time again?

Bush Administration cuts $1.5 billion from military family housing.

The Bush Administration cut $1.5 billion for military family housing, despite Department of Defense statistics showing that in 83,000 barracks and 128,860 family housing units across the country are below standard. ("Nothing But Lip Service," Army Times, June 30, 2003; "House Appropriations Committee Approves $59.2 Million for Ft. Hood," U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards Press Release, June 17, 2003)

Bush Republicans support millionaires instead of military veterans.

Bush allies in Congress stopped efforts to scale back the tax cut for the nation's millionaires by just five percent - a loss of just $4,780 for the year - in order to restore this funding for military family housing. ("The Tax Debate Nobody Hears About," Washington Post, June 17, 2003)

Bush Administration underfunded veterans' health care by $2 billion.

The Bush Administration's 2004 budget underfunded veterans' health care by nearly $2 billion. ("Vets Health Low on Bush's Priority List," The Hill, September 17, 2003; "Support for Troops Questioned," Washington Post, June 17, 2003; U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs, September 2002)

Bush Administration proposal would end health care benefits for 173,000 veterans.

More than 173,000 veterans across the country would be cut off from health care because of Bush Administration proposed budget cuts and its plan requiring enrollment fees and higher out-of-pocket costs. ("Support for Troops Questioned," Washington Post, June 17, 2003)

Bush Administration budget cuts force more than 200,000 veterans to wait for health care.

Over 200,000 United States veterans have to wait more than six months for a medical visit because of health care shortages. ("VA Health Care Funding Alert," Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Press Release, January 31, 2003)

Bush Administration opposed plan to give National Guard and Reserve Members access to health insurance.

Despite the war efforts of America's National Guard and Reserve Members, the Bush Administration announced in October 2003 its formal opposition to give the 1.2 million Guard and Reserve members the right to buy health care coverage through the Pentagon's health plan. One out of every five Guard members lacks health insurance. ("Bush Opposes Health Plan for National Guard," Gannett News Service, October 23, 2003)

Bush Administration cuts $172 million allotted for educating the children of military personnel.

The Bush Administration's 2004 budget cut $172 million of impact aid funding. Impact aid funding assists school districts by making up for lost local tax revenue from tax-exempt property, such as military bases. These education cuts will especially affect school-age children of troops serving in Iraq who reside on military bases. ("Support for Troops Questioned," Washington Post, June 17, 2003)

Bush Administration tax cut denies military families increase in child tax credit.

The families of 262,000 children of military personnel do not receive the child tax credit increase because the plan fails to cover taxpaying families with incomes between $10,500 and $26,625. According to The Washington Post, the House version of the Bush Administration plan "wouldn't help many of those serving in Iraq." One solider who will not benefit is Army Specialist Shoshana Johnson, the soldier and single mother who was wounded twice in the same convoy as Jessica Lynch. ("Ex-POW's Family Accuses Army of Double Standard on Benefit," Washington Post, October 24, 2003; "The New Senate Child Credit Legislation - What It Does and Does Not Do," Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, June 25, 2003; "Whose Child Is Left Behind," Children's Defense Fund, July 23, 2003)

RICO ACT CONSPIRACY AGAINST VETERANS

By the Department of Veterans Affairs,
The Court of Appeals for Veterans,
and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit

There is a massive government conspiracy against America's Wounded Troops, and America's Veterans, by the very agency entrusted to administer their benefits, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Courts having a duty to oversee the process.
Our Military, and Veterans, do NOT have Constitutional Rights.

When they fall in battle, or otherwise become disabled, their Veterans Benefits are awarded arbitrarily, and capriciously, if at all.

There is NO Due Process of Law, NO honesty as evidence, and laws, favorable to the Veteran are ignored, and NO Impartial Hearing Body at any stage of the process.
There can be no Due Process without an Impartial Hearing Body at some stage of the process.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a long history of corruption. It is well documented that from at least 1971 to the present the VA has been illegally destroying evidence in Veterans Claim Files, and "rigging" claims against Veterans.

It was only when the news media exposed two of the corrupt attorneys, Attorney Lawrence R. Gottfried, and Attorney Jill L. Rygwalski, who stole from thousands of Veterans, and drove uncounted numbers of Veterans to their deaths, that they were prosecuted and give a very light slap on their hands.

To date NOT ONE Veterans Group, not the DAV, VFW, American Legion, or even one politician from EITHER political party, has taken any steps to help the hundreds of thousands of Veteran Victims get their records corrected, and to receive the benefits stolen from them.

There has been, and continues to be, an ongoing conspiracy by the Department of Veterans Affairs to falsify records, and to commit any illegal act, to cheat Veterans out of their lawfully earned benefits.
The conspiracy is directed by VA Management, that harbor the Bush Administration Belief that Veterans are bums, and that Veterans Benefits are a form of welfare.

To assure Veterans do NOT receive Due Process of Law, and are denied a fair, IMPARTIAL, hearing body the Bush Family appointed 12 Bush Republican Judges, that harbor the same Bush belief that Veterans are bums seeking a welfare benefit, when they seek Veterans Benefits.

VetsForJustice.com received a massive amount of Complaints about dishonesty in the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Most allegations were similar, and a simple search of decisions by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit revealed a pattern of Veterans alleging criminal conduct by VA Officials, and a pattern of that Appeals Court ignoring evidence favorable to the Veteran, and the Court using "canned", predetermined, decisions to deny Veterans "Meaningful" Access to their Court.
A reading of the Judicial Biographies at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reveals a STRONG influence in that Court by the Veteran Hating Republican Party, and that many of the judges worked in agencies cheating Veterans.

There is STRONG evidence the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is CORRUPT, and part of a political RICO Act conspiracy against Veterans.

News Fact

While Veterans returning from Iraq do not receive assistance starting a business the Bush Administration DOES give anyone in Iraq, including our enemies, a $10,000 gift to start a business if they qualify.
Just WHOSE side is the Bush Administration on???

Military Is Illegally Giving Out Records of Veterans to Anti-American Republican Hate Groups

In an effort to "chill" Veteran Activists that write any articles unfavorable to the Bush Administration, Bush Republican Hate Groups are being illegally given, personal information, and classified records, about Veteran Activists that is supposed to be protected by the Privacy Act.

The Veteran Hate Groups are then using the illegally obtained documents to harass Disabled Veterans, and to intimidate them in the free exercise of their civil rights.
Veterans that find themselves victims of these hate groups, should contact us, as we are filing a Tort Claim with the Military to seek redress for such illegal conduct.

What Political Party SUPPORTED Saddam?
Our Troops Have a RIGHT to Know!

Many Americans do not know that Saddam was made powerful by a former President, and that Saddam has close ties to an American Political Party.

In 1983 President Reagan took Iraq off the "Terrorists Countries" list and sent Donald Rumsfeld to meet with Saddam, and to carry a STRONG letter of support of Saddam by the Reagan Administration.

Donald Rumsfeld also arranged for Saddam to receive military assistance from the United States, and was involved in a number of "business" transactions benefiting Saddam.

On December 17, 1998 President Clinton launched a massive attack against Saddam and the WHOLE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS betrayed our troops, WHILE THEY WERE IN HARMS WAY, to play politics, attacking Clinton.

Now, after arming Saddam with American Weapons, President "W" Bush is on record telling dozens of lies to start a war with Iraq.

Why would one political party arm a Dictator and then later start a war with him?

As Hendry Ford once said "To end a war simply find who profits off it". And WHO is profiting off the Iraq War?

Daddy Bush, who has made MILLIONS, Vice President Chaney, and a long list of very powerful Republicans. The Iraq War has nothing to do with terrorism and is ALL about war profiteering, and oil control.

You won't see the Bush Children fighting in Iraq. Or Vice President Chaney's Kids.

And as Former First Lady Barbara Bush said "Why should she care about the deaths of our troops in Iraq and waste her beautiful mind on something like that."

After all, the rich, and powerful, do not have to fight in the wars they start. They get deferments like Vice President Chaney by hiding behind a womans skirts, and hide in inactive guard units like President Bush, who willing states that there was no way HE would serve in Vietnam.

Our troops deserve the truth, that they are being used by the rich Republican Leadership, so the rich can get richer.

If this was a REAL war against terrorism we would have used the full might of the United States to bring Bin Laden to justice for the 911 attacks, and believe me we could have Bin Laden within a week, IF we really wanted him.

If we were to get Bin Laden, and the war were to end, the war PROFITS would also end.

Those that start wars should not be allowed to have huge investments in corporations that profit off wars.

And America's Tax Payers should not be paying to re-build Iraq when Iraq is one of the richest countries in the world.

Iraq's Oil should be used to rebuild Iraq. Not tax dollars from American Workers scraping to get by while Iraq gets new schools, and a free ride.

We need to REMEMBER these Republicans when we vote.
