Yeah I know, Cindy Sheehan is a leftist "untouchable" but she's still a disgrace to America and so are her communist Code Pink handlers.

Some other American disgraces are mentioned in this article as well.

Perhaps if they stay on their hunger strike long enough, their bodies will shrink in size to match their "collective" IQ.

Putting their lives on the line for America

Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Cindy Sheehan and Meredith Dearborn...when their bodies reach the vanishing point, they will have matched their IQ.

Anti-war protesters begin July 4 fast
Mon Jul 3, 2006 8:07pm ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters)

About 150 protesters sat in front of the White House on Monday to savor their last meal before starting a hunger strike that some said will continue until American troops return from Iraq.

The demonstration marking the Independence Day holiday was organized by CodePink, a women's anti-war group that called on volunteers to abstain from eating for 24 hours from midnight on Monday.

Some protesters said their fast would continue beyond July 4th.

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq, said she would drink only water throughout the summer, which she said she would spend outside President George W. Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas.

"This war is a crime," Sheehan told a crowd of clapping, cheering protesters. "We represent millions of Americans who withdraw their support from this government."

The demonstrators crouched in the muggy evening next to a piece of pink plastic, spread down the road as a table and table-cloth in one. It was covered with wilted pink sunflowers and plates of vegetarian curry, white rice, and beans.

The demonstration aimed at highlighting the costs of the war, in which more than 2,500 U.S. soldiers and thousands of Iraqis have died, said CodePink spokeswoman Meredith Dearborn.

"We have to put our own lives on the line, and I'm willing to do that," said activist Diane Wilson, who pledged to fast until the United States withdraws from Iraq.

Dearborn said 2,700 other activists nationwide, including actors Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn, would work as a relay team passing the fast daily from one to another.

jwhop.....

....if anybody is a disgrace to America, it most certainly IS NOT Cindy Sheehan, who carried a child within her for nine months......bore him......loved him...... and nurtured him -

- only to have his young life taken (one of many "bush sacrifices"), before any of her dreams for him could be realized.....in a stupid, bloody war which never should have been.....an unprovoked attack on another country, which did nothing to us...an embarrassing action based on the damnest flimist excuses crazy men could ever dream up!!!

....if anybody is a disgrace to America...it IS george w bush....(and his demented cohorts)

...the ones responsible for the taking of that young life along with many, many other lives....

You are mixed-up with where the real DISGRACE lies!!!!!

Nah, I've got it exactly right. This whiner who is actually going against the wishes of Casey's family with her asinine protests is ALSO out of step with what her son wanted.

This whiner is also being backed by the communists at Code Pink. This whiner is giving aid and comfort to our terrorist enemies.

This whiner is also a liar in virtually everything she has said about the US and about Bush.

This whiner is Cindy Sheehan and Cindy Sheehan is a disgrace...to America, to her family and to her dead son who is a hero to most Americans.

Not to you though Rainbow and not to Mirandee, and not to the rest of the leftist screech team.

It takes a special kind of disgrace to use the death of her son for a political purpose. That's Cindy Sheehan.

jwhop in his confusion says....

What her son wanted?

What her son wanted, you say?

Her son was a very young man, who's life had barely begun....

....a young man who had not yet lived enough years to realize or comprehend even, that there can be deception, from those who are supposed to be our protectors....

...to put it simply

....he was barely out of childhood so understandably would innocently believe the propaganda bush and his cronies used to convince people it was a "justified" war!!!

bush's grand display of "shock and awe" on innocent people....was sickening!!! for those of us who knew it was absolutely WRONG!!!

For those young men and women innocently "drawn in" - believing they were "protecting our country" by fighting george's war, it was much more than sickening....
..IT WAS DEADLY!!!!!

Give up the crap Rainbow. Casey Sheehan not only enlisted, he reenlisted. He was proud of what he was doing and he was proud of the United States and what we are doing in Iraq.

This is a case of a runaway mother using her sons death as a political stepping stone. Utterly disgusting.

Perhaps you haven't heard the news YET Rainbow.

25,000,000 Iraqis are free from the murderous thugs Saddam and his insane sons.

Those Iraqis have voted in several elections and approved an Iraqi constitution. They voted for representative government.

Now I know that gets leftist panties all bunched up...representative government because leftists prefer socialist/communist/Stalinist/Leninist/Marxist governments...like Saddam's, like Castro's, like Kim Jong il's, like Mao's, like Ho's.

Strange though, I don't see any American leftists actually wanting to live under the kind of government Cindy Sheehan's sponsors at Code Pink prefer. In fact, I don't see any leftists heading for the US border on their way our...even though Alec Baldwin promised he would.

Which only proves you can't believe a word leftists say.

We'll see what the American people say in November Rainbow.

That's the only vote which counts.

BTW, Bush won in 2004 and increased Republican partyseats in both Houses of Congress.

Bush won 2500 out of 3000 counties in the United States and won more votes than any president in the history of the United States.

BTW, the leftist traitor John Kerry lost.

jwhop.....YOU HAVE NEVER BORN A CHILD!

You may have dropped a seed here and there(I'm only speculating - not accusing)......but
until you've grown a child inside your body, until you've labored to give that child it's first breath, held for the first time, that little human being that grew inside you......you'll never, ever understand a mother's closeness with her child!

So YOU give it up!

Cindy Sheehan lost her child....and she's angry as hell and has EVERY RIGHT TO BE!

...and the flimsy excuse that he "reinlisted" DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!!

He was a victim of NWO brain-washing/mind control....propaganda....

You give it up!

Sorry Rainbow but I don't buy into the leftist drivel that there are leftist untouchables who cannot be taken to task for what they say and do.

You've got the wrong guy for that. Perhaps you should be commiserating with that leftist hack at the NY Times...Maureen Dowd who has Cindy Sheehan down in the column of people who have absolute moral authority...apparently to say and do any damned thing she pleases.

wow of all the places i would think i would see posts such as this, it is certainly NOT lindaland. i am really shocked that such a thread would even appear under "global unity" when the whole idea of unity is to find the common thread of humanity within each of us, not to point fingers out of fear.

the bush regime works very hard to instill this same fear and hate into the lives of so many of our citizens. and it works. posts like these are proof in my eyes. and as for that "citizenship" test.... if the primary proof that someone deserves to be here is their knowledge of the countries past, then we will never be able to move forward and learn from the horrible mistakes we have made....

I don't know if "deserves to be here" is an accurate phrase. But certainly a country of knowledgable citizens is preferable to a ignorant population. In fact, it's essential for a well-run democracy. No? You could easily make the argument that a good portion of current problems find their roots in an ignorant, apathetic populace. How can the Declaration and Constitution protect us from tyrants if we don't know what the hell they are??

quote:
...if the primary proof that someone deserves to be here is their knowledge of the countries past, then we will never be able to move forward and learn from the horrible mistakes we have made....

In order to reaffirm our old strengths and learn from our past mistakes, it's necessary that we be aware of the past. No?

If anyone needs to be taken to task for the things he does and says....it is the child/man we have at the helm doing ungodly crazy things in the name of my country - America! God help us!

Jwhop gets his thinking from his role models like Ann Coulter who accused the wives whose husbands were killed in the WTC on 9/11 of making money off their dead husbands. As if everything Ann Coulter says and does is not to make as much money as she can.

Taking Coulter's cues Jwhop accuses Cindy Sheehan of using the death of her own son for political reasons. Guess it's easy for him to think that way since he never carried a baby in his womb for 9 months and gave birth to and nurtured that child. No, Jwhop, Cindy Sheehan and other mothers who have lost their sons in Iraq are doing what they can to see that no other mothers have to go through the pain of losing a son or daughter in Iraq. For that purpose they are attempting to put an end to this war for corporate profit. Yes, her son is a hero and she knows that as does everyone else. But unlike you and the likes of you, she just does not feel that her son's life was worth losing so that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Halliburton and the rest of the military industrial complex can make a huge profit off the so called "War on Terrorism."

No one who continues to support Bush and his administration who have no regard whatsoever for the Constitution of the U.S. has any right to call Cindy Sheehan or anyone else a traitor. Bush and his cohorts are the traitors as is anyone who supports what he is doing to this country and the world in the name of corporate profit and to line their own pockets.

False patriots continue to believe every lie that is told to them by Bush from a script written for him by corporate America. They wave the flag and talk of democracy but at the same time they cannot stand democracy in the U.S. They believe as Bush does that anyone who dissents against their treason to the Constitution should be silenced. They believe as Bush does that they can rewrite and distort the Constitution to fit their agendas while abolishing every freedom that it grants to American citizens. They believe in blind obedience and because they are obedient they believe that everyone else should be as well. If not then they should "bomb the NY Times" as Ann Coulter says.

On that test it was Patrick Henry who said, "Give me liberty or give me death." He was a true patriot. And that is what the "liberals" are saying today while those who support Bush and his evil regime are saying "take my freedoms away one by one in the name of security." Meanwhile the true patriots like Cindy Sheehan and the rest of us "liberals" are fighting for what this country really stands for - the U.S. Constitution...freedom and democracy in the U.S. Cause we can't give away to any other country like Iraq what we don't have here in this country first and foremost.

In my opinion, I do not believe it is ever a disgrace to stand up for what you believe in.
Regardless of whether I agree or disagree with someone else's viewpoint, I will always support their right to express themselves. Freedom of speech is something we should all hold dear (imagine living in a country where you can be persecuted for your belief system.......now THAT is a disgrace!)

Also, you have to realize that no matter who you are talking about, it is always easier to sit down, shup up and go along with the flow. It takes more courage to stand up and speak out.

When I look back on the history of our country, I am grateful for people who have stood up for causes they believed in (such as civil rights). Now there were a lot of people who thought they should "sit down and shut up" too.......just leave things the way they were; don't rock the boat. Thank God there were enough people who had the character and courage to take a stand no matter who thought they were wrong.

As for the comment that someone standing up for what they believe in makes Americans look "stupid"; I would counter that and say it makes Americans look free.......... who cares if you agree with her or not? We don't have to be a bunch of Stepford citizens....how boring would that be?

inspite of knowing that people here in lindaland like peace and hate ur ideas and support for bush, u keep on posting ur stupid threads which directly or indirectly support war. and when ur replied sensibly and logically u tend to not answer on that thred. it seems like ur just trying to convince people of 'bush crap'.

or maybe worse... ur just trying to gain attention, be someone important around and have ur say around here.

ur just compelled to say good for bush and neglect all the carzy bloodshed his administration has cost. ur by no means a democrat. i'm sure if bush was to crown himself u would support him and lick his a$$. do u get money to do this u political puppet?

a hunger strike..an offense against
your body temple..self-imposed, with
this kind of reasoning..goes against
the Universal Laws and GOD. ...

you know what I mean..it's kind of a stupid
option to choose..in my opinion. .
