"Lucy's Baby" -- World's Oldest Child -- Found by Fossil Hunters What do you think???
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/09/060920-lucys-baby.html Dirk Van Tuerenhout, the Associated Press Fossil remains of Australopithecus afarensis, known as 'Lucy,' were displayed in 2004, in Addis Ababa, Ethopia. The recovered skeleton is estimated to be 3.2 million years old. It was found in Ethiopia in late 1974.

It's very interesting, fascinating even. I read the story yesterday.The baby is dated to be about 100,000 years "older" than Lucy but if they want to call it Lucy's baby.... IP: Logged |
