dear Pidaua ~i would seriously suggest that the next time you slather all over jhwop's magnificent posts and impeccable sources, that you consider actually reading the posts and the sources presented. there is a very good chance that they may contain information to which you will have same reaction as ~ "I do not believe the crackpot BS..." that you have toward the article from frontpage magazine. also, "You can find all the articles you want from doctors that are against male circumcision because of their personal or radical beliefs..." these 'radical' beliefs happen to coincide precisely with the information in this highly conservative publication... so again, i would suggest you evaluate your reading and comprehension skills, or your ideological stance, or something, because at present, there is no comprehension or consistency whatsoever in the statements that you've made here. Oh please naiad, your wannabe attempt at being rational and intelligent is a waste of time. I WILL give jwhop compliments as his posts, unlike yours, have an actual thought process to back them up as well as real facts instead of your incessent cutting and pasting. Merely chanting your same old worn out mantra "pidaua is mean, pidaua has no comprehension skills and can't read, pidaua is full of hate...blah blah blah" doesn't make it true. I know you, like other leftest wacknuts, believe if you say something enough it will come true. LOL.... but, I am sure the spaceship will be coming down soon to rescue you enlightened people from having to be subjected to us mindless NWO brainwashed folks. I do hope it happens soon! If anyone is full of hate and bitterness salome, it is you. Just read through your posts- then again, that would entail you having to remove the demented filter that you have happily superglued to your brain. IP: Logged |

I would like to add that this hijacking threads and turning the topic away from the initial meaning is also getting old. Jwhop indicated a problem that we have seen throughout time concerning women being used as sex objects, punch toys, slaves and second class citizens that are useless for all things other than to serve and procreate. YET.... we see it again go from an actual discussion about female rights (and I would think most liberal feminists would be all over that like white on rice) to talking about male circumcision being equal to cutting a two year old females clitoris off. Talk about a sick turn of events. IP: Logged |

any re-read of this thread would very glaringly highlight you as the one severely lacking in your attempts at being rational and intelligent. omg....i can't believe how you can you say these things in all seriousness. in case you didn't notice, my posts were a direct follow up on jwhop's position of the misogyny that can be found in religious leaders' statements in monotheistic religions. the title of the article on circumcision -- "Ga. man accused of circumcising daughter"...is quite obviously about the crime of circumcising children. i believe that both girls and boys should be free from this tragic and barbaric practice. that you don't doesn't make my opinion any less valid. it is you rather who attempts to hijack this thread with your continuous personal derision, lies and attacks on me. again, i would suggest you take time out from frothing at the mouth about me, and instead consider the idiocy that you have degraded this thread with. if you were miraculously to actually read the posts here...now that would be an impressive thing.

Prove your allegation that jwhop is a misogynist. You keep making baseless allegations- now prove it or admit that all you are doing is discrediting a person's reputation by lying. Keep in mind you are stating that the Christian religion and jwhop feel the following towards women: "Misogyny –noun hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women. " While human beings have perverted religion (interestly enough you always seem to focus only on the Protestant religion) religion in itself was not designed with a hatred or women in place. Maybe if you could stop foaming at the mouth with hate towards Christianity, men and all things Conservative long enough to research a point in full you would stop looking like a fool. Oh and your little example that article had the word "circumcision" in it equates it to female mutilation, does not hold water. They are quite different and while almost everyone agrees that female mutilation and the removing of the clitoris is inhumane, only a small percentage of the medical community and society feels male circumcision is on par with that. You can whine about it again and again - but repetition still doesn't make it a truth. IP: Logged |

She didn't say Jwhop's a misogynist. She said:"in case you didn't notice, my posts were a direct follow up on jwhop's position of the misogyny that can be found in religious leaders' statements in monotheistic religions." She assigned the misogyny to the religious leader's statements in monotheistic religions, not Jwhop. IP: Logged |

AG you are right- yet naiad almost exclusively posts article after article without any debate, explanation or opinion to add. When questioned, she goes back to another article and posts it. You neglected to see the entire exchange. Also as to the misogyny, she has made the allegation in earlier posts. That is, unless she is scurrying to edit them like she normally does LOL.... I know that jwhop doesn't need me to defend him nor is he blind to what she has said about him. LOL.... IP: Logged |

i have never alleged that jwhop is a misogynist nor have i ever edited anything i have said to you as you do with great frequency when your bile is enough to disgust even the most cynical reactionary.yes jwhop can speak for himself. i would go so far as to submit that he sometimes even reads what i post, lol. just because you disagree with my opinion about circumcision does not validate turning this thread into an argument about whether or not i am allowed to express that opinion, lol. you really should consider my advice to take a deep breath and read what people post here pidaua without uttering such thoughtless inanities, allegations and utter lies. you are making yourself look very very stupid. Still think the filthy sh!ts should get the maximum penalty regardless of their religious background....but lets be fair when doling out sentences. Let me speak, I'm Australian, says sheik
October 31, 2006 12:00
quote: MELBOURNE'S Sheik Mohammed Omran, who has caused fresh controversy with comments that Muslim rapists are more harshly treated than non-Muslims, says he can say what he likes because he is an Australian. In a sermon last Friday, the sheik questioned the consistency of sentences handed down to Muslim rapists compared with other sex offenders, such as "bikies" and "football stars", saying Muslims received harsher penalties.
quote: Sheik Omran said rapes committed by non-Muslims were treated more leniently than those committed by Muslims, referring to notorious gang-rapes in Sydney in 2000. Today, Sheik Omran said he should be free to express his view, that the Muslim youths involved had first received excessive jail terms of up to "60 years" compared to less than 10-year terms for other sex crimes. "In that case, in particular, I couldn't see that (consistency), otherwise, I should see the one who rape his own daughter, or the priest who rape a child under his care, or the teacher who have a sexual relation(ship) with his student, they are equally dealt with. "And the journalists, and the radios and the stations and the Prime Minister are angry with them at the same level, but I don't see that, and that's what upset me."
http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,20676180-5001028,00.html Sheikh demands equal sentences for rapists
quote: in a new speech posted on his website, he tells worshippers that rape is a major sin in Islam, punishable by death. The sheikh says that widely differing jail terms are handed out for the crime of rape, depending on the cultural background of the offender. "We don't support the crime, we don't support the one who does the crime, we don't support Sheikh Taj, we don't support anyone, defend criminals or crimes," he said. "But at the same time we want justice for everyone - either every one goes for 60 years or everyone goes for three years." Victoria's Sentencing Advisory Council has declined to comment, saying the courts collect no statistics on the racial background of offenders.

Linda Goodman explains well the misogyny that appears so prominent in the monotheistic religions, specifically christianity ~“Jesus the man, incarnated upon Earth as a teacher to stand as a symbol for all men and women I cannot give you further details of his lost years you must search within your heart ..for you know the answers” “why were those precious years lost to us?” “lost because of those spiritual leaders who were entrusted as the heirs of Peter with the Keys to the Kingdom yet, who removed the writings of his years from the Holy Scriptures believing themselves to be right in so doing.” “how could such gross deception be right?” “part of the answer lies in a great mystery even now kept contained in the Vatican in Rome and related in a most astonishing manner to the mute..but still secretly singing strange circle of rocks at Stonehenge, England inter-twined with a never revealed discovery nearly seven centuries ago..of ancient druidic writings containing the awesome wondrous, yet terrifying mystery of the English alphabet..and language of words and numbers at which time, certain members of the religious Hierarchy did determine among themselves..that these unexpectedly unearthed secret formulas of the Truth of existence and the trembling reality of the lost powers of the gods and goddesses now called Earthlings constituted dangerous knowledge for the masses and therefore, caused to have removed all references from the Scriptures which might, even through latent suggestion light the flame of soul memory within the sleeping hearts of all men and women who then might recall their lost powers and once again use them as a force for awful destruction in this, the Church Fathers believed themselves to be right and the other part of the answer to your question hidden for many centuries..is the negative motivation by those who desired to retain the religious patriarchy for the sake of the priesthood and indeed, for the sake of the entire religious hierarchy of even each Protestant denomination who felt it to be, as did the Church of Rome a fearsome abomination for the ‘unclean’ woman to arise ......for the feminine ‘I’ of the individuality to assume her rightful place – as equal in wisdom to the masculine ‘O’ of the Overself this even now reflected in the Church’s attitude toward women more prevalent in the Vatican and in the Mormon strongholds for these two pillars do hold many secrets than do the more direct and uncomplicated Protestant churches but the time is swift approaching when all which has been so long buried ..when each earthquaking secret shall be revealed into the Light of knowing that long-awaited time is nigh when each and every ancient lie..shall be exposed and the Truth shall reign once more in all of its shining innocence and glory, as before for this has been ordained by RA Himself..” from Gooberz

"UPDATED: Bush's Top Evangelical w/ Gay Prostitute?"OK, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and attempt to view you in the same light you apparently view yourself. So, as a person who views herself as "reasonable" "rational" and "logical", what were you thinking when you slipped the above tagline into the dialogue? How is Bush reasonably, rationally or logically connected to an Evangelist who is accused of having a gay relationship? Search as I might, I didn't see the name Bush anywhere on the site you linked to. Are you alleging this is the pastor of the church Bush attends? Are you alleging this is THE pastor Bush consults and whose opinion Bush gives extra weight to or any weight at all on religious matters. Are you alleging Bush has some "special" relationship with this pastor or his church? Or, is this an illogical, irrational and unreasonable attempt to tie Bush to some "alleged" sexual corruption? BTW, if the television station who ran this piece didn't attempt to tie Bush to this...and believe me, if they could, they would have a hell of a story they couldn't possibly pass up....then, why did you attempt to do so?

Ok the title of that particular article is a little off topic...but it's what's inside that counts. If you're interested in reading the allegations of the double life the President of the National Association of Evangelicals lives, theres more here: http://americablog.blogspot.com/2006/11/president-of-national-association-of.html If you're interested in where Bush comes into this, here's a link: http://www.tedhaggard.com/wsj.jsp
Haggard said he has "direct access" to Bush: "We have direct access," says Mr. Haggard, senior pastor of the giant New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo. "I can call [Mr. Goeglein], he'll take my concern to the president and get back to me in 24 hours." IP: Logged |

Nov. 2, 2006 17:46 Saudi court sentences rape victim to 90 lashes By DPA A Saudi court has sentenced a gang rape victim to 90 lashes of the whip because she was alone in a car with a man to whom she was not married. The sentence was passed at the end of a trial in which the al- Qateef high criminal court convicted four Saudis convicted of the rape, sentencing them to prison terms and a total of 2,230 lashes. The four, all married, were sentenced respectively to five years and 1,000 lashes, four years and 800 lashes, four years and 350 lashes, and one year and 80 lashes. A fifth, married, man who was stated to have filmed the rape on his mobile phone still faces investigation. Two others alleged to have taken part in the rape evaded capture. Saudi courts take marital status into account in sexual crimes. A male friend of the rape victim was also sentenced to 90 lashes for being alone with her in the car. The court heard that the victim and her friend were followed by the assailants to their car, kidnapped and taken to a remote farm, where the raping occurred. The victim was quoted by Okaz newspaper as saying she had expected harsher penalties for the assailants, especially as they had pleaded not guilty. Her husband and family said that they would appeal to the court Saturday for harsher penalties for a crime which has shocked public opinion in Saudi Arabia and been the subject of months of debate. http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1162378314145&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull IP: Logged |
