Yesterday i was sitting in my car listening to NPR radio. They were talking about this report out on the Iraq situation. Then there was another guy talking who seemed to have a lot of knowledge of what it was like to live there in Iraq. ( I was half paying attention so I wasn't sure what his credentails were.) He was taling about basic living necessities. He was saying that many people there don't have water and electricity on a regular basis. I had a moment there of total compassion. I felt like Im so tired of this war and im really angry that anybody on this planet has to go thru that. We are all sharing life here and why should anybody not have what i have. I want my friends that share the experience of humanity with me to have a good experience.

I guess you could say it was a moment of awakening for me. When i was young we knew about the middle east but we didn't know the details. We just kinda knew that it was different lifestyle and we just kinda put it to back of our minds.

Maybe this war is on purpose to put the middle east in the forefront of peoples minds so our attention can go there and it will be this attention ( compassion energy) that will be the catalyst for the positive changes that are coming.

Then today i was thinking about GU. Its a lot of intellect here and discussion and i really like all that because it helps me learn more.

Then i thought to myself... all the discussion on the radio and in the media. Yes it too is all very interesting, all very intellectual.. but

Its not intellect that is going to make a difference.
Its the compassion i felt yesterday. That is why its not over yet. There aren't enought of us that are sending our compassion over there.

Compassion heals

Reaching out to others and understanding, helping when we are able...

Imagine that on a larger scale....a global scale....

WOW.....

Maybe a percentage of mankind isnt quite ready for that yet, for some it seems more fitting to fight and lash out....to wound and kill...

But who knows if we all have good intent?

Lovely post felt and sincere

Thanks
