There are currently 7100 British troops in Iraq
1500 British troops may return home within next few weeks
3000 expected to return at end of 2007
Bush will increase the number of American soldiers in Iraq with 21 000 more troops.

Blair may not keep his word on this, and in any case he will just send the troops to Afghanistan instead. His main reason for saying it is because there is a huge anti-war demo planned this weekend, led by George galloway's party, and he is trying to pull the spotlight away from it.

Well at any rate, that's pretty retarded of him to make that statement if he isn't going to follow through. Politicians...

The problem I see with either the U.S. or Britian pulling out is them leaving a huge mess of their creation for the Iraqis to clean up when the Iraqis did not ask to be invaded in the first place. Something needs to be done about the sectarian violence and we know that this new gov't is not even strong enough to combat it themselves. Ehhh, I really don't know what should happen next; If only this war never happened.

If you read the news today you will see that I was absolutely right. Blair is committing to send more troops to Afghanistan and he has said he will send troops back to Iraq if necessary. It was just a spoiler for the demo. http://www.uglyrumours.com/Click for a totally cool way to fight the war. You don't have to be in UK to do this. It will take any money
