i've just watched an interview with Michael Moore on this eves edition of newsnight ..
i.e. regarding his film 'sicko' ...
he paints a fairly misleading and rosy pic about the british NHS ..
talk about manipulative editing ! ..
documentary maker ? .. i don't think so ..
i used to think he was pretty good .. that is now past tense for sure ..
he can stick his so called documentary films where the sun don't shine ..

this is a panel show .. where members of the public put questions to various m.p.'s
( members of parliament ) .. the NHS ( national health service ) ..
and what's gone wrong with it was a recent issue ..

It's a small matter in light of the bigger problem here but .... unpaid hospital bills very much do affect your credit. Several years ago a $500 unpaid hospital bill falsely found its way onto my credit report. (It belonged to someone with the same name) The interest on my credit card suddenly made its way up to 23% - this from 7.99%. Needless to say I flipped. The unpaid bill was, according to the lovely people at MBNA, the reason why. And I won't go into what it took to get the damn unpaid bill off my credit report.
