And if you did, it wouldn't be half as delicious as the truth in this case.

Perhaps the Treason Times, Associated Press, Washington Post, CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC should consider springing for a refresher course in Telling the Truth too.

BBC spending $2 million to learn how to tell the truth
Thomas Lifson

You can't make this stuff up. It's almost like the punchline to a joke: "How much does it cost to get the BBC to tell the truth?" The UK Times reports:

Training to remind staff about the importance of telling viewers the truth will cost the BBC more than £1 million in staff time and expenses.

About 17,000 BBC staff have to attend a two-hour course, in which employees are invited to discuss where the line should be drawn between artifice and deception in the wake of a series of scandals.

Vin Ray, the director of the BBC's college of journalism, said that the direct cost of the course would be "a maximum of £500,000", but the cost of taking each employee out for a half day more than doubled that figure.

Mark Thompson, the Director-General, introduced the scheme after the corporation admitted a series of faked broadcasts, including made-up winners to phone-ins for Children in Need and Comic Relief and a misleading edit of a promotional video for a documentary about the Queen

LMAO.. that is too funny. How is it that we live in a time when journalists have to go to classes to learn how to tell the truth? How sad!

I'm not surprised to see it's the BBC once again which is fudging the truth or outright lying to their viewers.

I recall the BBC making allegations against the Blair government that they had "sexed up intelligence reports" to give a false picture of Saddam's regime in Iraq.

When all the dust had cleared...meaning a special commission was appointed and headed by Lord Butler a jurist of unimpeachable credentials, it was determined the Blair government had done no such thing. In fact, Lord Butler concluded the intelligence data coming out of British intelligence was well founded.

Another aspect of the Butler Report said the Bush comment in the State of the Union Address...“The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa .”...was also well founded. This in spite of the lying Joe Wilson's op-ed in the Treason Times..aka, the NY Times. Joe Wilson's lies later caught up with him.

Of course, this left a very large vat of egg all over leftist faces who had been chanting "Bush lied, people died". Not that the truth ever manages to penetrate the minds of leftist morons.

Another interesting outcome of the Butler Report was that the conclusions were inescapable that the BBC flat out lied to their viewers. As a result of that, their broadcast contract with the British government was in jeopardy of not being renewed.

The number 1 and number 2 executives at the BBC were forced to resign their positions as a result of BBC lies.

Guess they haven't learned a thing...which is not in the least surprising since they're a far left radical broadcast company with a leftist agenda. That agenda shines through loud and clear...and it's not an agenda of telling the truth.
