he has not watched any of the tapes of the pastor and he has come to defense of his chicago minister Wright. He has also defended Farrakhan.Come on atleast watch why the Americans are angry before coming forward Besides catholics teaches you to behave when u speak from the pulpit. he and his church pastors seems to violate all decencies. some of their pastors are even preaching "The americans who have gone to iraq war are nazis.". Geez... Brainwashing idiots.

Well I don't expect you to know this but Father Pfleger is a Very,Very good friend of Rev Wright and he is always over at Trinity and Rev Wright is always over at St. Sabina, so trust me he knows all that Rev Wright has preached and what he is about..I am a member of Trinity so I know first hand.Have you ever heard either one of these Pastors preach a full serom not sound bites but a Full gospel Sermon??? And I put stong emphasis on (have YOU heard) not what the media has twisted into words.. IP: Logged |

Mama mia - I know that Wright is a good man but not wise. I also understand that its ok to make insane statements just to get attention of new comers. I wonder who he was trying to attract. his audience seemed the usual crowd. Does he speak what he means? And this Michael agreed that he did not witness all his sermons. Its on the tape. He missed all that '...hiv ...crap...', '...us kkka ...' etc.

I wonder who he was trying to attract. his audience seemed the usual crowd. Does he speak what he means? And this Michael agreed that he did not witness all his sermons. Its on the tape. He missed all that '...hiv ...crap...', '...us kkka ...' etc. First off none of what Wright said was new, he has been preaching this stuff for long a time, I have been a member for 10 years..The only reason this made it to the media and world wide like this is only bc Obama is a member of Trinity..Rev Wright preached alot of this stuff before Obama even became a Senator..As far as Father Pfleger is concerned he may have not seen the tapes but he has been friends long enough to Rev Wright to know how Rev. Wright feels..and that he is going to state his opinion. Honeslty Trinity stands 8,000 strong in members don't really think he was seeking new comers, the fact that Obama was a member of Trinity attracted the new comers.. Rather ppl feel Rev Wright is wrong or right about what he feels and there is ppl on boths sides, this has to do with Obama running for president thats it thats all.. "On Sunday, May 18, 2008 – the Sunday after Pentecost, which also happens to be called Trinity Sunday in the ecumenical calendar – we are asking our 10,000 UCC pastors across the nation to use their pulpits to address the subject of race. We believe this is an important first step in beginning the broader conversation that needs to take place in our nation, in our communities and, especially, in our houses of worship. Over the next six weeks we will be equipping our pastors and lay leaders to help them prepare for May 18 and for the important conversations to follow." How interesting this is gonna be..I guess there is going to really be something to talk about now..
