I don't think what she said really holds any merit.

Every person who has spoken words has, at some time or another, had their words taken out of context or misunderstood. We could analyze hundreds of politician's gaffes which, in the end, made no difference whatsoever to their ability to lead. We could even do this with McCain. So I don't think the argument of not showing enough foresight for how the words might be interpretted is representative of how Obama will lead.

Whatever was said, honestly, is no worse than what has been said before in this, or any other, election. If we let stupid things like this encourage our decisions on who we vote for, I'm booking a one way to Sweeden ASAP...

And the bridge requires many millions dollar more than what federal earmarks provided. Infact Alaska was spending money in to it once the construction began. Hence she says in the future she will build it with state funds but not go to congress. Hence No thanks to congress. She has not given up on that bridge. Even if one person lives on the other side, she sees that area as having economic import in the future. But it is not a priority right now. Hence I said she is a great executive who has worked in the best interest of her state. Imagine what she will do for her country if given that role of VP. And Congress ok'ed for the money to be kept by Alaska but provided its not used for the bridge.

Thank you for once again showing America the NBC version of the "in the bag for Obama press". What NBC and the rest of the American press fails to note is that America no longer trusts the press to tell the truth..and for very good reasons which you at NBC exemplify.

Though you attempted to ambush Rudy Guiliani today, he put Tom Brokaw and the rest of the "the in the bag for Obama press" in their place...which is the leftist pew.

Obama and the socialist chorus is going to lose this election and lose the election on the issues. Attempting to put forth the notion that if Obama loses, it's going to be racism is a dead bang loser.

Of course there are many losers at NBC News including the news executives who put the insane Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews on the air long after they had reached the level of their incompetence. NBC News is a safe harbor for irrational Peter Principle challenged losers who never get anything right.

If I were an NBC News executive, I'd be attempting to shore up the network's credibility with the public. In case you don't know, only about 24% of poll respondents believe all or even most of what you broadcast is true.

Instead, you are attempting to destroy the last few shreds of credibility you have left.

I'm not surprised nor concerned in the least that NBC News, like the other broadcast news and so called "newspapers" are headed out to sea after being flushed by the America public.

Of course, it's also been shown that O'Bomber plagiarized large sections of one of his books. Oh, but it was OK to put someone else's thoughts on paper without proper attribution...because the true author is an O'Bomber supporter.
