The way I see it, if Obama didn`t make the remark refering to Palin and McCain, then shame on him for not having the forsight to see how it could/would be taken. In that light, is this man ready to lead this country with such short sightedness? Don`t we need a person with enough forsight to see the problems before they land on our doorstep? Think Iran, Syria and now Russia. juni ------------------ ~ What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world is immortal"~ - George Eliot IP: Logged |

Yeah Juni - exactly. Moreover I don't want a plagiarist (copying word by word of a political cartoonist)running this country. An unlightened man is known by his associations. Ask any Cop in your state and you will know what I mean. This guy has been associated with criminals and terrorists who blows up buildings. What a disgraceful way these democrats are behaving by prologing this farce.IP: Logged |

I never heard about this until today:Bill O'Reilly defends Obama's lipstick on a pig comment: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AE_aWi8zWiY Apparently Mike Huckabee did, too. I bet McCain would have, too, if he weren't in the campaign (as he's always been against the most egregious smears regardless of which party they came out of in the past). IP: Logged |

I'm being nice, Lotus.I don't think what she said really holds any merit. Every person who has spoken words has, at some time or another, had their words taken out of context or misunderstood. We could analyze hundreds of politician's gaffes which, in the end, made no difference whatsoever to their ability to lead. We could even do this with McCain. So I don't think the argument of not showing enough foresight for how the words might be interpretted is representative of how Obama will lead. She also brings other countries to the table suggesting that perhaps Obama won't follow a prudent foreign policy path, but Obama's been advised extremely well on foreign policy. The Bush Administration following Obama's prescription has shown this. I have every reason to believe that Obama will continue to receive sound advise with regard to foreign policy, and what's more there's no indication of a temperment that will make hasty decisions which leave diplomacy out or otherwise discount viable options. You don't think what she said has much merit, but many do, do you understand that? And that is an insult, no one here has said, that what you have said has no merit! You seem to only be willing to See your Side.. Just my observation... All my love, with all my heart To ALL. ... IP: Logged |

Wait. So you asked why I didn't respond to Juni, which was the nice thing to do, which wasn't insulting in the slightest, which was allowing Juni's opinion to go unchallenged. Then when I grant your request that I comment, you find it insulting? Did you honestly think that I was going to agree with her points? Be careful what you wish for. quote: You seem to only be willing to See your Side..
Take a look around. Who isn't seeing their own side here? You can't make a comment against someone when the same exact comment applies to yourself. That's hypocritical, and I shouldn't have to waste my time commenting on such obvious things. IP: Logged |

I do look at both sides, and another observation I have made, is this...thus far, you AG, have insulted Mannu, and Juniperb, BlueRoamer has insulted me... that makes me think, that democrats, just like to insult people... you can SEE things the way you want..that is your free wi11 choice! In another string, I mentioned I was not impressed with Palin's interview with Gibson, you accuse me of being a hypocrite, hmmm, how so, I don't really like her, she's for the sport of hunting, compares herself to a ***** /dog, I am not impressed, you SEE?All my love, with all my heart To ALL. ... P.S. I understand why McCain chose her, and most likely he will win because of her..pretty smart, if you ask me! IP: Logged |

I don't believe that you have the ability to convince me that you see more sides than I do. Commenting that you see the Democratic supporters as insulting is about as perfect proof as there could be on this matter. You see us as being insulting, and none of the Republicans as insulting? Seems like a pretty one-sided view, and one which doesn't take the facts into account, doesn't it?That you try to prove you're not a hypocrite by pointing to what you said about Palin's interview is nonsense. You said about the interview that she came across as vulnerable. Criticizing your own candidate doesn't show that you're open-minded. She's still your candidate. You're still defending her against her critics, aren't you? You are only willing to see your side, are you not? IP: Logged |

Politics, schmolitics...Whatever was said, honestly, is no worse than what has been said before in this, or any other, election. If we let stupid things like this encourage our decisions on who we vote for, I'm booking a one way to Sweeden ASAP... I think Sarah is disgusting and I would really love to take those "oh, aren't I a sexy librarian, now the men of america have some eye candy" glasses off her face and smack her.. PERSONAL OPINION. Just saying. Making rape victims pay for their rape kits is UNFORGIVABLE. I really hope the women of this country are not going to back-track and support McCain because of this moron.. Political tactics, anyone? WOW! We're in the biggest energy crisis/worst economy in years and LOW AND BEHOLD, the republican ticket holds a FEMALE who is from ALASKA and has BIG IDEAS for our FUEL ISSUES... Spare me... Their ads are laugable, at best. Her interview last night was like if you could watch the sound nails make scratching a chalk board... Ech... Anways... Hope everyone is enjoying the ride of the '08 elections! It's kinda nuts, kinda scary, and I hope we all make it out to the other side unscathed!! Love to all!! Ghani IP: Logged |

In "View" McCain was told by one of those idiot women out there "But she sold her plane at a loss?" As if we didn't read it on the internet already. What the hell was John doing on that stupid show? Those idiots don't know that as a governor she had the privilege of a plane and she refused it. To save her state money. Two million dollar?? How many governors do that? IP: Logged |

Another leftist nut reporting on a leftist channel. The reporter is lying blatantly. At 1:15 minute he says Alaska kept 300 billion MSNBC must retract. Shame on them. Journalism is dead in America already. And I am wasting my time correcting them. And the bridge requires many millions dollar more than what federal earmarks provided. Infact Alaska was spending money in to it once the construction began. Hence she says in the future she will build it with state funds but not go to congress. Hence No thanks to congress. She has not given up on that bridge. Even if one person lives on the other side, she sees that area as having economic import in the future. But it is not a priority right now. Hence I said she is a great executive who has worked in the best interest of her state. Imagine what she will do for her country if given that role of VP. And Congress ok'ed for the money to be kept by Alaska but provided its not used for the bridge.
Palin is the cloud that comes and rains in the parade of Obama's supporters Jwhop i now better understand, why you call them 'demoscats'. They are full of hypocrites people. Great smile that reveals an hideous character inside. For example, they talk about distributing wealth, but when it comes to charity look at their record. quote:
In 1998 Gore was embarrassed when his tax returns revealed that he gave just $353 to charity.
I have a popular code word for them '353'. To remind them of their hypocrisy.
And now I also know they don't do well in Mathematics. They don't know how many zeros a billion contains.

To: NBC Meet the Press Sunday, September 14, 2008 11:21 AM From: jwhopSend Meet the Press your question E-mail your question to Meet the Press by filling out this form. Thank you for once again showing America the NBC version of the "in the bag for Obama press". What NBC and the rest of the American press fails to note is that America no longer trusts the press to tell the truth..and for very good reasons which you at NBC exemplify. Though you attempted to ambush Rudy Guiliani today, he put Tom Brokaw and the rest of the "the in the bag for Obama press" in their place...which is the leftist pew. Obama and the socialist chorus is going to lose this election and lose the election on the issues. Attempting to put forth the notion that if Obama loses, it's going to be racism is a dead bang loser. Of course there are many losers at NBC News including the news executives who put the insane Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews on the air long after they had reached the level of their incompetence. NBC News is a safe harbor for irrational Peter Principle challenged losers who never get anything right. If I were an NBC News executive, I'd be attempting to shore up the network's credibility with the public. In case you don't know, only about 24% of poll respondents believe all or even most of what you broadcast is true. Instead, you are attempting to destroy the last few shreds of credibility you have left. I'm not surprised nor concerned in the least that NBC News, like the other broadcast news and so called "newspapers" are headed out to sea after being flushed by the America public. I wish you a swift journey. A free press, YES. A lying press, NO jwhop

So now we find O'Bomber plagiarized his comments in his "lipstick on a pig" moment at one of his campaign stops.I strongly suggest we can now call O'Bomber/O'Biden the plagiarist duo. Of course, it's also been shown that O'Bomber plagiarized large sections of one of his books. Oh, but it was OK to put someone else's thoughts on paper without proper attribution...because the true author is an O'Bomber supporter. Can you say desperate? "But it appears Obama has learned something from his running mate, a thing called ... plagiarism. What was missed in the speech that got him in so much trouble last week was that it wasn't his own. Oh, the sexist, juvenile and degrading "lipstick on a pig" insult was all his, but take a look at what preceded it." "As WorldNetDaily reported, Obama's speech was almost identical to a Washington Post political cartoon by Tom Toles Sept. 5." The Washington Post cartoon said: "Watch out, Mr. Bush! With the exception of economic policy and energy policy and social issues and tax policy and foreign policy and Supreme Court appointments and Rove-style politics, we're coming in there to shake things up!" Obama's speech four days later: "'Watch out, George Bush, except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics – we're really going to shake things up in Washington!' That's not change ... you know, you can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig." I think we can all respect a guy that copies his speeches from the cartoons, can't we? http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=75363

Yeah, now Obama has got a buddy.Obama seems to be now plagiarizing Greenspans speeches from years ago on economics without attribution. And I also think Biden is very mediocre. I find McCain's speeches boring too. Could be pain from cancer he is going thru , who knows? IP: Logged |
