As far as I know, you're the only one here who listens to Rush Limbaugh on the radio on a regular basis. As for the stock market katatonic; what you don't know is that the vast majority of money invested in stocks is invested by Mutual Funds, Employee Pension Funds, Hedge Funds et al...and that for most of those there are requirements that roughly 85% of their money held for investors must be invested in the market. They are not permitted to cash out and sit on the cash. Still, what you're crowing about in favor of O'Bomber is simply BS. A long term chart of the Dow Jones Industrial Average shows the market going sideways in a rather narrow trading range. Further, the Dow has never gotten back to 14,000 in spite of the devalued dollar and inflation. So katatonic, what are you crowing about? IP: Logged |

no randall but when i turn on the radio it is now almost impossible to avoid him.also i try to listen to different sides of the story. however it is ami anne who gets her news from rush, and considers him a "hero" in her own words... i find it interesting to see how he interprets the truth for all his listeners, who apparently can't figure it out from facts, but need his spin on it. of course there are plenty on the other side who do the same thing, the trick is to find the facts buried within.. beg pardon if i got the numbers a little off on the market, jwhop. the fact is that corporations and traders are making record profits, while some hide in the shadows afraid to budge because "forward" is a COMMIE word, dontcha know? yes there are loonies and idiots in every party. lucifer is giving him way too much credit! however more than one conservative body has identified him as the perfect "cypher" candidate, who will do the bidding of whomever promises him the most..
speaking of mitt...heard the latest about page 169 of romney's tax returns submitted to the public?
no? seems romney had no idea what was in it either...of course that is a LOT of pages to read, but brings to mind the length of bills going through congress that he will not have time for either, one suspects. if he can't even familiarize himself with his own tax returns before he publishes them...? why don't you just email him, randall? i don't think he's gonna be back soon.as to this fabulous thread, those who stuck their heads in the sand and played dead before they even saw what was going to happen four years ago may be congratulating themselves, but those who stayed up and running and cashed in are laughing behind their hands at the little ostriches. the very first post says it all - those who refused to play in someone else's version of the game CAUSED those job hemorrhages THEMSELVES. record profits for so many, really what kind of disaster has it been? if it weren't for those who were so sure it was going to be a rerun of stalin's ussr, business could have been booming this whole time. the head of costco didn't need the govt to tell him he should look out for his workers, and he didn't need to "obama proof" his business as it continued to grow and grow and GROW. sad sacks seeking to protect every penny will be the ones who lose, not those who are okay with a few dollars less in their bonus packets. in the four years i've been here he has never taken 2 months off. maybe he is smarter than rush and realized his approach was not winning? perhaps he is regrouping, or REALLY obama-proofing his life, ie moving to canada with the disgruntled tea partiers.
