can cyanide capsules be purchased over-the-counter? oh, wait, I bet the Mexican or Canadian "Pharmacies" sell them on-line.
I can commission Zala to craft me a necklace to hold said capsule. If 1/3 of what this guy predicts comes true, I will need it.

26 is this the first time you have caught his predictions? did you see the 07-08 ones he talks about having been true? i never trust hindsight especially online where it can easily be edited but i do trust your truthfulness..

i would rather know where might be safe IF there is a polar shift. nowhere above ground, from what i hear the winds will be unbearable...

and pardon the bee under my bonnet on this issue but i consider predictions like this to be irresponsible in that what we visualize adds to the possibility of things actually happening. the future is unwritten and any number of factors can change it, including the mindset of the population...

so rather than cyanide capsules i will be working on my own mental and spiritual growth as my contribution to the future (as usual). there are plenty of "evolutionary leaders" who have foreseen gateways out of this dimension when the time comes...stuie wilde calls them camelots, or tomelacs since the door opens into what he calls a mirror world...

haha Node. I've got my eye on that date too.

kat, yes, it's the first time ive read anything by him or heard of him. Havent read his older predictions yet. I just found what he was saying interesting and thought that some of it rang true. I really liked what he had to say about the Mayan Calender etc. He doesnt seem like the type that would edit and change his past predictions and he readily admits he's been wrong in the past.

I dont really see the predictions as "irresponsible", rather what "could be" and what we might want to prepare for. And why would these things coming true be such a bad thing? We may need them to to completely start over. I'm not saying I believe all of them will come true or to the degree that he states and am pretty detached from them really. They are possible though. Do I want to go out that way? No. But ultimately I have trust in God that I will be where he needs me to be and under whatever cirucumstances. So I'm not worried. If this is what needs to happen for transformation as a whole, okay then.

Yes, working on ones own mental and spiritual growth is always important, but maybe that is also exactly why we might be facing certain sitiuations in the future, because of lack of that in the past as a collective. We've gone too far now.

I agree that nothing is written in stone and things change. Hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst here. When it's our time to shed our bodies we will. Not too soon, not too late. My trust in a higher power is greater than the forces that be here and i'm not too attached to this old bag of bones. If any of these catastrophies do happen and i am one who somehow survives them, i'll continue to do my best for the rest of the time on the planet. What else can you do?

The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by José Argüelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about December 21, 2012, a forecast that mainstream Mayanist scholars consider a misinterpretation, yet is commonly referenced in pop-culture media as the 2012 problem.

"For the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle," says Sandra Noble, executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mesoamerican Studies, Inc. in Crystal River, Florida. "To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday or moment of cosmic shifting", she says, is "a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."

Thanks for the link HD. I do have to agree with you and say he does sound p!ssed and slightly paranoid. Though like with everything there may be truth to some of his notions and predictions.

I think he's right about a change in consciousness when the calender ends too - the end of time as we know it. Let's hope so. May be the beginning of a new world in which we don't need bodies or gender or have lighter bodies. If the earth's changes are so severe that we lose a lot of lives, perhaps we will then be able to live a new way, operating on a new dimension. It's time for peace. Can't believe how close we are to the date now. It's just around the corner.

Comeon please.

In the Genesis the wise authors had to start with "In the beginning..."
and that created so many fights between the theists and the atheists.

And the mayan calendar didn't go past 2012 and that has created so many dogmatic beliefs. One had to start from somewhere and the other had to end somewhere. So please, come back to the here now.

26 i agree with most of what you say. what i meant by irresponsible is only that if enough people believe in these things they could BECOME set in stone, so to speak. ie what you fear you bring upon you. and i don't neccessarily think it's going to be as "bad as all that".

i firmly believe that were the poles to shift as he seems to think, the winds and other geographical traumas will be intolerable to people out in the open or even in most dwellings. we're talking higher winds than any of us has ever heard of...

but as you say it may be necessary for everything to fall apart before we can start over, and i'm not worrying about that. i'm with you that we either will or will not be in a "safe" place and that at the very worst i will get proof other dimensions/ reincarnation, whatever happens between lives...i think cyanide capsules are probably irrelevant.

the main thing to me is that you really can't prepare for the kind of things he is predicting so in some ways it is better not to be "warned". many people go into tailspins thinking the end is near, and frankly, the end of the world has been predicted as imminent so long and so many times that i think we are better off carrying on as if we DON'T believe in it.

the end of the world "as we know it" - well its about time in many ways but i would be sad to have to leave, its a beautiful world in so many ways...

and it is so true that lack of exercising spiritual muscle/ getting lost in the material world are at the root of most of our problems today - and most other days too!

Even if the whole earth was to be destroyed by some ego trips of politicians or however it will happen, the universe is so big I am sure , life will find its own way.

it will be pity ofcourse to see the pinnacle of evolution in man going down the toilets just like that.

We were so close during the cold war and now North Korea is testing Japan. Interesting spur of events.

No one has the crytal ball and people who say who do majority are professionals and are just playing with your insecurities.

Yes, that's pretty much what i'm saying. I'm not worried about it. More curious about how everything might play out.

Not my insecurities Mannu. I trust in higher powers.

it will be pity ofcourse to see the pinnacle of evolution in man going down the toilets just like that.

Maybe. Maybe not.

And seems to me we've got a long way to go. Take a look around. I read the news headlines and dont think we've come so very far at all sometimes.

mannu, i had a great aunt who was born in 1900. on her birthday in october 1985 she announced "i've seen the best this civilization has to offer, don't want to hang around much more!" and in january of '86 she had a massive stroke. went to hospital where she laid in a bed for 2 weeks, unable to speak or move much, but could write with her good hand...after most of her loved ones had visited her, spent some time, etc, her oldest grandchild showed up from california to see how she was doing, give support, whatever. he was a nurse..and reported the following conversation (handwritten of course):

"JJ, is it possible to die of boredom?"
"No, nana, it isn't"
"That is pure bullxxxt!"

with which she turned her face to the wall, and without responding to anything more was gone within a few hours.

the pinnacle? maybe not...or maybe we have yet to reach it..i guess it is for each to decide for themselves.

a lot of what she says rings creepily true for me.

"In mid-summer of 2008 we began to get signs or symptoms that we were done. This manifested as not knowing what we were now supposed to do, feeling worthless and out of place, feeling invisible and not valued or needed, and generally just lost. By October, the dis-connect was very evident and complete for many, and by January of 2009 it was fairly clear that something very new was on the horizon for 2009."

going back to the mayan topic, i was reading what he had to say there and found a funny thing...

he is quoting revelations and talking about the various phenomena predicted there, including "earthquakes in divers places" which he interprets as being UNDERWATER (divers)... do you think this is a deliberate misinterpretation, since "divers" is meant to be oldfashioned way of saying "diverse"? or maybe he just doesn't get the olde version?

have to say i hadn't read this before, and i agree with the "end of the world as we know it"...ie, the end of this level of consciousness? maybe i am just in denial, it does seem we have some major geological challenges coming but somehow i see us coming through....

and i quite like the bit where he talks about how all "manmade" things will disintegrate or disappear...that would be the perfect solution to toxic waste now, wouldn't it?? and one i have never heard of before.

26t,
Buddha would tell people 'the soul does not exists -- it has to be created'. Very very significant quote. Most of us even though we have soul (consider it energy or magnetism or however you perceive yourself as) are just crapola in their eyes. The artists and musicians does give some form to their soul , but that is not the peak of their being. And not everyone is cut out to be an artist or a musician. There are infinite possibilities. A buddha and a Jesus could proudly return home after sprouting a tree from their seed.

kat,

quote:
the pinnacle? maybe not...or maybe we have yet to reach it..i guess it is for each to decide for themselves.

First of all , your aunt must be very intelligent because only intelligent people get bored. Buddha was bored with all that richness and women and then went in . But once you give birth to your soul , life is an journey with no final destination.

Second of all - you must agree that even when we are so advanced yet we have not found any evidence of life as on earth in this vast cosmos. Scientists says perhaps there are only 500s earths out there. But again no proofs. Perhaps if this earth is destroyed , there will never be another earth. There will be no possibility for another Jesus or a Buddha (etc) for the 6 billions of us. And look at those retard politicians waging war on each other disregarding our beautiful planet earth.

I mean the nay sayers will say I didn't ask God to give birth to me . There are very great books written on that subject and hence will cut short.

Oops ...got a call interrupted. Hope I tried to explain where I was going with that comment earlier.

yes, mannu, i hear you. out of one side of the mouth the politicians talk saving the planet, out of the other they are ordering the trashing of it with bombs and ammo and spending all the money that could be used to clean'er up!

have to say that i think the destruction of all manmade materials (which would include everything seriously toxic to the environment and therefore us) sounds like wishful thinking to me. however i will join in the wish, since i don't see any OTHER way of destroying this stuff.

and yes my g'aunt was very intelligent, and managed to thrive after a nasty marriage and divorce as a single mother/interior decorator in a time when divorce was looked down on as a solution to emotional abuse by the general populace, not to mention the irish catholic community!

this may sound wierd, but in my spirit, i feel there is a shift happening and there are two ways for every individual that it will play out. it is hard to put into words how i think about this, but i believe those that takea higher road, conscience and return to basics, and love will fare just fine through the changes that will happen. those that don't prepare and keep living as if this is all there is, they are all thatm atters and money and possessions is everything, will have another story to tell.

i think there are two roads.

i think our dna is programmed to accept the shift and it will be very different, but safe and better for some.

while others choose a different path, which much destruction will come.

isn't there always two roads? we are somewhat responsible for the future and must manifest good things by our thoughts, wishes, prayers and the way we live.

i think it matters. it matters how we think, it matters how we live.
fear is the opposite of love. we can choose fear or choose love. it matters.

just my view for what it is worth.
