people who live in apartments can always dry inside if they don't want to be mistaken for those backward chinese (or whatever group you consider ignorant and less-than-sophisticated).

clothes hung dry 1)smell great 2)seldom need ironing, its true!

however it is still the industrial energy users who create the most pollution and use the most juice.

My winter bedding is hanging on the line to dry for summer storage as I sit here
The bending over to retrieve sheets from the basket is great exercise and the wonderful scents are bonus`s to the conservation of energy.

Low flying birds are worrysome tho

My mom used to have a clothesline. She eventually got with the program and bought a dryer.

Gee, all that fuss and bother with washing and drying clothes.

Just wear them until they get stiff then make shop towels out of them.

So, that's where shop towels come from.

Yep, that's where shop towels really come from...and I've contributed my share.

Look at it this way Randall. My way is the "green" way.

There's no...
alkyl sodium sulfonates
napthas
Phenols
Phosphates
Sodium hypochlorite
ethylene-diamino-tetra-acetate or
synthetic chemical whiteners

released into the surface water or ground water from washing clothes.

Can't argue with that logic.

That's a lot of chemicals just to do laundry.
