SORCERESS DREAM
Touch the winds of the water
So your hearts will fly to the East In your life...in your tears...in your every breath. (Please, please, give me another chance...) Love caresses the stars deeply, healing them
Misty rain is reborn as the smile on your face
We swing back and forth
In the heartbeat of creation...
(...So talk to me, at least look at me)
...The Eternal Eye ends the slumber that never really began
Staring into the universe as one whole,
You trust me...and I trust you
All of creation is nothing compared to the whispers which lie beneath the surface
Whispers of long-lost dreams
Dreams that aren’t what they appear to be
Dreams of despair...
Feel the darkness
Surging through your body
Do you still trust me?
Let’s embrace everything we’ve ever been afraid of.
Death...the ocean watches all the while.
Shadows, shadows, shadows, shadows in the self
Shadows of past, present and future
Who will listen?
I will, and I’ll tell you what needs to be done
Come.... They were all put together, and as a result, ceased to exist
Starlight becomes a friend
Fear will strike your heart no more

Spiritua, this is a very deep and hauntingly beautiful poem. Thank you for bringing this up for me to see it. Although I am not a Pagan I do understand it, and I think I know what you are getting at. your writing skills provoke the working of the inner mind and deepened soul and bring forth many emotions. Thank you, Spiritua! That is beautiful. You were right that I am a pagan, though! I'm really enjoying your writing and I'm glad this thread got bumped. As someone else said, the imagery is very vivid and there's real emotion in it.------------------
