A little more Kudos to Carlo...

I looked at your site and Fajita is right-everything is just lovely! The artwork is perfect. (And not many things in life are)

And Fajita, you are far too modest. It is amazing and everyone will love it. No doubt about that.

Ok, I'll stop butting in on threads now. LOL

Oh Oxy...you can stay anytime, you are always welcome...there can never be too many Aquarius girls around me lol

Didn't you love her poem?! It's funny, before she sent it, I was telling my wife that I was making this page, because I had asked her last year to do a poem on Aquarius guy cuz she had gone with one for like four years. She never did it, she did two about Leo Girl/Virgo guy, about me and her, so of course I let her off the hook for an opposite poem.

So I was telling her about your poem, how it is so simple and cute and Aquarian, and she laughed. Then fajita sent me hers and I was blown away, literally, I fell of my chair, my wife had to help me up. I was so thrilled my wife got a little jealous at the praise I was heaping on you, and then on fajita. I think that for Leo Girl/Aquarius Guy, Jakie's and finechick' are perfect, even though of course I told my Leo wife that there would always be room for hers at the top, should she want to do one I just wished some of the guys would have written them, or some Water sign people.

Anyways, the series is way mo better than I ever imagined right now, and while I hope to complete it someday, I am so happy and content with where it is now. Thanks everybody who did one I will not be making any more requests for submissions, so if you want to do one, you have to post it or let me know. You budding poets had your chance, now you will have to ask me Thank you to all you brave GIRLS who rose to the challenge and maybe even learned a little about yourself and others by writing a poem. Yet after getting Donna's poem, and reflecting on all we have accomplished with the series so far, and all the fabulous poems that everyone did...I simply cannot ask for another one, I am at a loss of how to do it without appearing as if I am being greedy or asking for the Moon. I am satisfied, this is what I have wanted for years Thank you brilliant ladies, one and all, you should all be proud

Bright Blessings,
Carlo

Thank you Carlo!

Her poem is amazing (that's a blatant HINT, Fajita, to post the link) as it was a story from start to finish, quite beautifully told. I like writings that are interesting through and through, without trying to be "deep" and just flows easily...it makes unpoetic people like me appreciate it!

Just wait Fajita, you will receive tons of compliments once you make it public!

Carlo...looking at the site made me realize what a wonderful compilation of stories you have there, all wonderful in their own rights, and presented just beautifully. Makes me wish I could write a poem. A good poem. Anyone can write one, but they aren't always good! For instance, I was looking through my little box of momentos (who says Aquarians can't be romantically nostalgic sometimes?) and found a poem from a Cappy I dated as a teenager. (Way back when I was a heartbreaker lol) He was so infatuated and he wrote a poem to me titled "Serenditpity" and whereas it was meant to be sweet, my cold unsapected Venus in Cappy just felt embarrassed and quickly shoved it away. But I digress.

Anwyay, are you planning on putting this into book format? I think you should give free copies to your good friends here in LL. Ah, it's a worthy cause...I'd pay to have it.

Oops...guess I replied too late-I just missed your post, Fajita!

I should tell you...so much of what you wrote reminded me of the big Leo in my life (er...the big Leo who was in my life).

Your memories of that guy sounded too meaningful for it to have been the same guy.

I go through phases of different closest friends (sometimes, there are a few who always remain) and two of them were Leos. One definitely had to have some Pisces and/or Cancer in her chart, rendering her less Leonine and more emotional...but we helped each other in so many ways, it's too bad we lost touch. And the other one just competed with me all the time.

Have a good night too, Fajita!

Oh Fajita!!! What a beautiful poem & beautiful pictures. And Danita is a beautiful name!! Your poem has brought tears to my eyes & a longing for long ago times & a longing for the beach!!! I haven't seen a beach for soooo long & when I did it was in Edinburgh so it was cold- but wonderful.
My dear Aquarian friend is going out with a Lion-I spoke to her tonight & told her of LindaLand she was very excited- she introduced me to Love Signs & so much more. I lost my virginity to a Lion- & then we were best friends & worst enemies for a long time...
Wow! You are amazing!!! I love your poem, you are an :aquarian: & you've inspired me again.

Millions of Love & Hugs,Orange Blossom xxx

It wasn't really a show about donkeys lol It was a 70's transvestite/disco version of A Midsummer Night's Dream, complete with all the best music. And it was a group of us taking our old boss out for his last day...2 Libras, a Taurus, a Cappy, a Virgo, a Pisces, and me. Hey, I debated posting the picture I have with a few of the cast members. What a fun night. What a drunk night.

Yeah, writing's never been my thang...but i should get back into drawing at least. I've always been the person with too many scattered thoughts in her head and who has trouble putting it all together. I've been in a I-can't-be-much-of-a-creative-anything slump for a bit. I'm trying to work on it though.

Are there specific transits that promote freely flowing creative energy? Or, transits that supress it...like, long-lasting transits? lol

I'm still trying to convince Ms. Fajita to compile her stories for a future book of memoirs. Aquarian Ramblings and such...or something along those lines.

WOW that donkey show sounds sooo the kind of thing I would love to go too!

OrangeBlossom you are so sweet to me, really funny, in this thread Carlo is surrounded by all these Aquarian girls

Well I love you guys I am going out now
well Oxy if I write you will have to contribute something, and Carlo too, and Carlo why doesn't you post your wife's poems about you? Well you don't have to maybe to personal, I understand..
Oxy I already have an attorney in San Francisco who told me he would help with all the copyright stuff for when I write..I just need some seasoning first with some creative writing classes, and I should read more too.

But you are making me blush so let's change topic!

I am currently reading the Magus, anyone else?

Orange Blossom I will reply to you,I wrote so much and it all got erased and I was so upset!
Love d

Carlo, those poems are fantastic! Very sweet, it almost made me wish I had a significant other. But then I remember all those Fixed Sign placements in my chart...too stubborn to compromise right now. lol

How was karaoke? I went to a bar on Houston St. once, in the middle of the day on a Sunday. There were scattered groups of people all doing their own thing, and all of a sudden, "Build Me Up Buttercup" came on the juke box and the entire bar started singing in unison. What a good feeling in NY. What did you sing last night? Nothing too embarrassing, I hope...

Fajita, I can't sing either. Tone deaf, i think. What is the Magus?

It's a good book by John Fowles, I guess Magus translates to Magician. Apparently it goes into Greece and is scary, but right now I am just at the part in Europe

That's funny when I went to NYC for my first time I thought Houston St. was pronounced like the city in Texas so I thought everyone was joking when they pronounced like house- ton Street, then finally I realized I was in error and must've looked pretty funny chuckling everytime somebody said that street name LOL

Yep, it's great, Carlo.
I suck for being too cowardly to keep my efforts up.
I might still have 'em around if you don't think they'd disgrace the page
(she said in a Piscean half-self-mocking/half-dead-serious way).

Second of all just send him an email.

Third of all I loved your poems and I think everyone else did, I would like to know your chart specifics, b/c I think you are too hard on yourself!

Fourth of all and (((hugs))) to you! and good night!
