Wow! Very epic! Welcome! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

OH WOW! MEILI! i take it you're Chinese? it's AWESOME! insight impressively woven into admonishIng prose. "The nature of a wolf Is to consume human flesh But nature is submissive In the face of divine requests." It is only the human mind That can refuse what God wills And tangles the web of destiny Creating the obscuring veils." "...Those who listen To God are most dear When the ignorance Takes over the tongue Confusion is sown God's will is not done So hold speech Until wisdom dawns..." who is "Pir" and what is the Masnavi? "To know a thing It's lack you must see.." yes, isn't it? you're gifted with the language of aeons past, if i may say so: "We begin the tale Not at the beginning True tales are always Forever spinning" (lovely!) "with poverty of expression.." was there a source of inspiration for this epic-poem? IP: Logged |

Great and amazing senses, Meili.... Very impressive. Have you ever thought of sending it into a magazine? Or Randall, I have a better thought: Why don't we publish our own book of creative expression? We could take contributions from all the Knowflakes and use the profit for our convention or the upkeep of this site, or for printing t-shirts we could wear to promote the site. What does everyone think?------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |

I have been thinking about publishing a compilation of some of Lindaland's more interesting Posts (along with Lexigrams and poetry), but I wouldn't expect many sales. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." "Assumptions are a strange thing. They always touch on the truth, but never arrive at the Truth. So, the most accurate response I can offer is “Yes I am and no I am not.”"So, the “source” for this poem was made from the original Duck and is not the soup of the soup of the soup. That is why it is quite tasty. Nothing to do with “me”." gotcha. IP: Logged |
