Spare me lies r.dafremenSpare me The shame of knowing my estimation of you was wrong That all of the memories we shared were wasting space there all along inside my brain Should I refrain while you look me in the eye and tell me that you ain't done nothin' wrong? I listened at the door of the hotel room where I thought I saw your car Heard the sounds you'd made for me mixed with another's groan I felt the pain just then For one moment burning-stung, then gone faded away Things aren't the same since it seared like steam released from cabbage leaves in the eggrolls in my car See I was headed home Thought I'd find you here alone You're just arriving though The food once hot for you grown cold Go ahead tell me again how you ain't done nothin' wrong? Thanks folks. By the way, that has never happened to me, just so you know. It was just a song that popped out of my head. It's a country song (course that's almost obvious huh?) I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!Did anyone read Pergamino Number One? That's been helping me believe in my ability to succeed. I read it three times a day, just like it said. I've been doing it for 8 days and it's already getting easier to get into the habit. (That's what the first lecture is for...getting in the habit of a daily schedule for programming yourself for good habits.) At the end of the 30 days, if you folks would like a progress report, I'll be happy to give you one. I will translate each lecture as I come to it. If you feel like joining me, go right ahead..keep it to yourself it that makes you more comfortable, but if you need confidence, if you need to believe in yourself more, there it is. I like this one. It's interesting how the genders of the people of this poem could either be woman or man.IP: Logged |
